I watch that shit like 5 times in the past two months trying to understand him better. That shit was ass and you know it. "Dark Naruto" wasn't dark at all compare to other people.

He need a "avatar Korra" journey. He need to learn what it feel like to be truly powerless and have nobody to pick him back up.

He always have somebody to pick him back up when he is losing it. That's the problem.

Dark Naruto represented his unwillingness to forgive the Konoha citizens that tortured him all his life. Now that they accepted him he felt like it was cheap like why should I just accept them now that they accept me but they never accepted me before? But he learns to just forgive and move past that hatred to stop the cycle. Naruto always has his friends to help him out, but even when he knew Pain had killed a ton of them he had the strength within him to set aside his hatred and try to understand Nagato's "legitimate greivances". So there you go.

You forgot he had empathy for the Uchiha clan and his parents,and his hawk .And he did the entire Narutoverse a favour by murdering him because the guy he murdered deserved it.Attempted murder was because Sakura tried to kill him first .His goals were ever changing which didnt make him one with a one track mind but rather dynamic.Not good or evil but something in between.Rest is just twisting him the way you see it

I think it's because Kishi has a tendency to write his character in such an open ended way. Especially now that the manga ended. We don't really know what sasuke has been doing over the years other than the fact that he had a daughter and became nomad. At least that's what it is for me.

I feel like we got closure with naruto. We know he reached his life long dream and that he has a family, and naruto is naruto, there's not much else that can change for him. Where on the other hand Sasuke is still pretty shrouded in mystery. The manga literally ended at a turning point his life. There's no real closure for him, which is the only thing I hated about chapter 700. We got one panel of one of the most vital characters in the manga other than naruto and none of us had really any idea what the heck he was doing or how his character has changed a matured. We don't even know if he ever got his prosthetic arm yet.

He stated that he intended on Sasuke going around finding out the truth about Kaguya, and the Ootsutsuki clan. Also he is working to prevent another Kaguya from happening.

Are you talking about the time at Kage Summit because he didnt want to kill all of them,just Danzo.The others were obstacles to him.If you are saying he wanted to kill the Kages in 693 that isnt an attempt to murder.Its an intention to murder.And most of those people were more than capable for defending themselves.
Also this is a ninja themed series.Killing and murders arent such a big deal as you make them out to be .We have 6 year old kids watching dead bodies in the series and 12 year olds even disposing them
