A summon doesn't have to cooperate with whoever summons it and can even turn against them. The beast must willingly cooperate when summoned and if not, the Uchiha can cast their Genjutsu to control it, just as mentioned above and theres no way a tailed beast is fighting willingly for Sasuke so yeah, AFTER he makes the contract and summons one, he'll need Genjutsu to make it his weapon.

One being how the summoning can't feel the chakra of the summoner with a regular contract, whereas Kurama could clearly feel that it was Madara trying to summon him.

Go back to where Jiraiya is teaching Naruto to summon Gumabunta. Naruto summons Gumabunta and Gumabunta thinks it was Jiraiya that did it, therefore they can't feel the chakra.

Another difference is how the summon can deny the summoner and how blood is needed for regular summons. These are all in the thread I linked.

As well, Rinnegan summons prove that you don't have to have a summoning contract signed to be able to summon.

Summons can feel the chakra of who is summoning them. Naruto was surprised he summoned Gamakichi in the war because he called upon the chief toad Gamabunta but Gamabunta sent his son in his place and to tell Naruto he was busy.

Yes but you are looking at it for the wrong reason. When Minato used the Contract Seal on Obito, it removed the direct control Obito had on the Kyuubi. That's what the Contract Seal does, it is a Fuinjutsu that implements that very purpose. The Genjutsu is connected to controlling the the Kyuubi, and a Contract Seal/Bond was made to to keep it that way.
