So I used to watch Pokemon in my childhood but then I dropped it. Probably because it never ends. Anyhoo lately I have been seeing people with Mew and Mew 2 avas. When I dropped Pokémon , there was only hype about these 2 characters and no actual proof of their abilities.

So to the people who know, what exactly are their abilities ? Who is stronger , Mew or Mew 2? Are they evil/good? Which Naruto character would they be on par with ?

Mewtwo=Mew
Mewtwo is a clone based of Mew, he was created in a Lab by humans to be used as a weapon. He witnessed his fellow pokemon friends die right next to him. He started to frow hate by seeing the way team rocket treated Pokemon. (so he assumed all Humans are evil)
He eventually changes by seeing Ash sacrifice himself to stop the fight between Mewtwo and mew.
That's a quick summary.
There is also another Mewtwo that is a female.

in my opinion the mega idea is the purest form of asspull.
They ran out of colours so X and Y was produced. The idea for pokemon became so strained they just upgraded the previous ones.

I disagree. The concept of mega evolution is entirely explained in x and y, also they haven't used colors that often in the series, they usually use gems or metals.

Also there is a theory that 6th gen games exist in a separate universe/dimension from the past games that is very strongly hinted at in omega ruby and alpha sapphire, they speak of a world where things played out differently and mega evolution never happened.

Not quite, mewtwo has great variety, but mew can straight up do anything.

They are both psychic types.

Mega evolution is a rather new concept.
Pokemon are beings of energy, and mega stones are unique stones with electromagnetic frequencies, that when combined with a key stone, can unlock new potential in a pokemon in the form of mega evolution.

Mew can learn any TM,Mew2 can't.
