Yes, because Waka Flocka Flame says the N word, it should be alright for these men/women on this bus to talk about hanging black people. I understand what they're saying in terms of rappers saying they've killed/want to kill people, but at the same time it's never tied to race(Not that murder of any kind is okay). That's what makes this chanting huge. Let's not let black people in our frat and talk about hanging them from trees, but it's okay because they are just emulating rap/hip-hop...

Now oddly enough it's these same people who say the word is racist and use a variation of it daily who made a rule that if you're white you can't say either or you're a racist.

Damn Okami I didn't think you were really this racist. No one is saying all rap is perfect or alright. I am saying these idiots on this show blame Waka Flocka Flame for the people in this video talking about lynching black people. Tell me what part of that makes any sense. It has nothing to do with the spelling of the N-word. Tell me where Waka Flocka Flame endorses lynching black people. This has nothing to do with those irrelevant rappers on that site. This is about Waka Flocka Flame, the idiots(Minus 1) on the tv show, and the racist chanters talking about lynching blacks.


On a side-bar, I'd like to point out the people on that site you posted. It's literally 4 different people/groups. 2 of which are irrelevant, 1 is Brand Nubian(They're racist/prejudiced towards whites), and 1(Ice-T) flat out said he doesn't hate whites, only people who aren't right(It says it on the song). I know you're trying to deflect the racism back on us blacks, but if you're going to claim you're not going to have rights soon(By endorsing that website), don't be over 60% of the US population. I don't think Waka Flocka Flame and his music have any actual involvement with inspiring the video. I think they just picked a random rapper out of their heads and he was the first.

I think the main issue is that alot of people don't understand the history of the fraternity itself.

Those lyrics aren't bred from hatred without reasoning, I see lyrics of retaliation, of revenge, of being fed up in a country that stole our people to do their work and is still leaving us out to dry and die.. We're all products of our environment. You can't see it because you don't deal with what we've dealt with. What you've dealt with?

White people were slaves to other white people. Hell even during the African slave trade plenty of white families were so poor that they actually had to sell themselves into slavery and work along side the black slaves just to eat.

Also the Jews were enslaved for over two thousand years and went through the holocaust so.....

Waka Flocka Flame has involvement because he was supposed to preform at the campus. However, after seeing this chant about lynching black people, he backed out and said he was disgusted by the chant and would not like to be associated with that. They attempted to say he is an inspiration for white youth to talk about lynching black people(I don't get it), but obviously they failed hard.

The history of the fraternity? That's the damn problem. Just because the history of something tells you to do or say something does that mean you do it? If my grandfather told me not to let a white person in my house ever should I do it? If my grandfather told me that I should never befriend a white person should I do it? We learn from our past. Just because there's some racist ass chant in your fraternity doesn't mean you have to shout it at the top of your lungs just to fit in. Why would you even want to fit into something like that? That just adds depth to how disgusting this racist chant was.

I agree with your point on the flawed logic to an extent. In my opinion, the n-word(ending in an 'a') should not be used at all. Even if it merely means friend or whatever excuses us black people want to use. If everyone can't use it, why use it at all?Why have a word that when said by one type of person means one thing, but if said by another means another thing. That's just setting people up to take an L.
As for comparing the N-word ending in an 'a' to the N-word ending in an 'er', why would that ever justify anything? The N-word('er') was used to oppress blacks as slaves, and as a segregated people. The other N-word('a') is clearly a variation of the word which should not be held in the same light at all if it's going to be used by all. They are two different words, with two completely different meanings. The black community seems to be in a conflict with itself as to what the softer of the two means, however.

I understand that they are calling him a hypocrite and that is completely true, the flocka whatever, is, a total hypocrite and I understand that they find him offensive, I haven't heard his songs and find him offensive. However, they are missing the point.

I also get that these kids were drunk and that they feel that they were repeating lyrics from a song or making up there own in the same style, using the N word because it is used in the songs and meant no racist intentions by it. However, I have seen the other video and they are not rapping, they are chanting, its more like a congregation of Nazi's, if they had been attempting to rap, I would be inclined to agree with the above statements, however, from the other video, I would be inclined to believe that there intentions were not innocent.
