Please, do a quick Google search. The term "racism" is pretty exclusive to race. In all honesty, you should probably leave this thread.

OT: Talking about racism doesn't really help the cause. Also, far too many black use the race card (at least in America). I'm not saying all do, obviously, but that some do take advantage of the white man's wrongdoings in the past. Stop worrying about race and instead be productive. That goes for any race, whether it be white, black, Asian, whatever.
I'm not using the race card. My issue is the fact that I know for a fact that this kind of racism is very common in the US. In public whites may show compassion for blacks. They may even march with blacks. But when they're behind closed doors and think they can't be heard, shit like this occurs.

Often times people can't get a job simply because of the color of their skin. Are we just supposed to ignore that and continue on with our lives? Race is a big problem in the US.

What? Wrong! It just that some white folks seem to be the biggest racists folks or the racists folks that can get away with it. Any other race can be racist including black folks, but they can't get away with it as much as white folks.
I never said what you said isn't true.

This reminds me of when Black Nerd comedy (youtuber) said that Disney channel was representative because it had diversity, inspite of the stereotypes.

Just no, dude. That channel is ignorance and racism 101. It makes American children super ignorant about diversity from early age and makes the rest of the world laugh until their own country comes up. :I Seriously, those shows are worse than gender role toy advertisement. (except for Phineas and Ferb)

So my point is, not putting that ignorant crap in young children's heads might be a step closer to less racism in the world :I

Try being black, and a muslim in Germany, like me. People in the buses sure are fun to meet. ;)

OT: It will exist as long as people keep talking about it.

I never singled out you, but the black community as a whole. It's really not that common. I can guarantee there's as many white jokes said behind closed doors than there are black jokes. A bus full of people chanting something like that isn't common...at all. You're deranged if you think it is.

That's a problem, I agree. It's a stereotype. But you know what they say, "All stereotypes have some truth to them." I could very well be wrong, but I feel as if blacks today don't really have a drive to pursue anything, and that's the label that the whole group gets stuck with. It might not be fair, but it's not inaccurate. I probably sound insanely racist by saying that, but I wouldn't say that I am. Just to clarify. lol And not hiring a person based on their race, ethnicity, religion, et cetera, is illegal, I do believe. Of course, biases can't really be controlled.

Maybe what they should have said was "I'm getting sick and tired of all the race discussions" and not deny that racism exists. Racism is going to exist, it's millions of years old, and served evolutionary purpose at one point. Did you know that dog litters will pick on the another dog in the litter who is a different color from the rest? Its purpose may not seem to serve much function now, but people are hard wired to categorize and protect their own. Protecting their own also changes like a radiating circle outward from the self. People have a hierarchy of protective defenses that start with self preservation, preservation of family, then friends, then local community, then country, then world. If aliens attacked nobody would be playing the race card, we would be helping each other. When America was attacked during 9/11 they weren't fixated on racism towards each other; they were in protective mode helping each other and focused on their perceived enemy.

So, if a person feels their race is being attacked they will have a natural drive to protect their like types. When people band together to say "white people are responsible for our oppression" or "black people are all on wellfare" it is going to pull out some protective urge inside you that you didn't even know existed.

The goal is to focus on changing behaviors with positive reinforcement, not bringing social change through guilt and anger. That just forces people to act defensively. As Gandhi said, "be the change you want to see in the world."

Yeahn im already ignoring them still sometimes its unfair that people look at me like im a monster
What these people don't get is that nobody is born with a sticker stating 'he's a muslim' or 'he's a jewish'. We're all born humans and we all fall into the same dirt after all is said and done, regardless of what others beliefs carry. Nobody's special, everyone's equal.

People not getting jobs because of their skin color is not a stereotype.

No one said it was really over. Only that now, it's less prominent, and me personally, I see racist people as ignorant and frankly, less intelligent. Because if you really have to objectify races just because they're different than you, you're a complete and utter idiot. There's no genetic difference between a white and a black man besides the specific gene that grants more Melanin for darker skin in a black man. There's literally no difference besides that. So it is scientifically impossible to actually be racist, just these plebeians find a way to be racist because they're misguided and stupid. Like, do that in my school (well high school) and everyone from Black to White will be jumping you because there is a lot less racism here in Canada (but it's still here, don't get me wrong). As long as the human condition exists, racism will still be alive.
