Which sets Naruto and Sasuke Naruto and Sasuke could became quite powerful until Minato retires. Why he appoint another Hokage while he is perfectly capable ?

Well 50-55 would be too old. Don't see Minato as 3rd or Onoki, who should have chosen earlier. I would say he would choose by 45. That would make Kakashi, Gai , Obi to, Itachi, Naruto and Sasuke as eligible candidates. Naruto and Sasuke would have disadvantage due to age factor and experience
