Why do some people take the Databook hyperbole literally?

I've seen some says that because the databook says that termari can blow away the universe (obviously a hyperbole) that it is trash. Is this what people really believe, or are they just joking?

In most cases they are probably serious tbh. I see people laughing everyday, because Temari can destroy the universe, and that hebi Sasuke has "godlike" speed. Smh!

The data book doesn't say those kind of nonsense. It's just the idiots that use that as an example because the DB wouldn't agree with their nonsensical claim.

Databook consists of useless hype. Manga is the best choice for references when you are debating.

The manga doesn't explain everything, so why not use the databook as a source?

People use those quotes to counter others who use unsupported DB hype to increase the strength of their favs in vs debates.

Data book can only be used if it doesn't go against the manga.

Manga>data book> fan opinion(in some cases)

Data book is full of hype and manga is full of hyperboles. Best to use logic to discern from the real/fake

The book is their to give you an idea of a person’s possible potential compared to others, it dose not declare anybody as a god in power. Its like a sport card their to tell you of individuals abilities, their record.

They call Temari being able to blow away the Universe trash, but they approve of Itachi "being invincible" with Sake Bottle and Dinner Plate.

As long as it doesn't have no limits fallacy or contradicts the manga I'm fine with it.

There is this type of hype that many people (the fanatics) really love also in the manga.
A lot of humans like to "believe" in something they can't explain.

You can't have a debate with a guy who "believes" in something , he is just a fanatic that can't reason , you , as a smart guy , should recognize those people , and pass your way.
Never try to debate with a fanatic.
General exemples: Hiruzen hype , Itachi hype , Yata mirror hype...And now Temari hype...

It's like having a debate on "the indestructible wall VS the weapon that destroys everything".

the databook is useless ''trash'' even w/o the hyperbole & contradictions

The manga doesn't explain everything, so why not use the databook as a source?

with regard to jutsu in particular, if it ''wasn't fully explained'' in the manga, then it obviously didn't need to be 4 the literatures sake
