I think what most readers don't understand is that this could be Kishi's way of adding conflict to make a story. If Bolt's life was all perfect there would be no story to write about now would there? Plus this is the best way to sign off both Sasuke and Naruto. To give the youngsters the chance to shine.

I'm gonna be honest, i'm looking forward for the spin-off because i want to see how sasuke acts whenever he's around sakura or his daughter, same goes for naruto.

OT:Yeah but Hinata probably spoils him, and he seems to have personality that would dominate that of hinata, so she probably lets him get away with things, So he lacks that sense of authority, just as Naruto did.
Probably why he acts out, so Naruto could notice him, and hit him.

Well yeah Kishi found it important to tell the story of the kids. So they are not just some objects with no personality.

But they're not going to milk it like the other series that has many many episodes/chapters. We will see it how it goes.

Kishimoto can still can address the unanswered questions with the new kids. Easily we can know what sasuke does when he goes away from them by sarada simply asking him.

Naruto wasn't just faced with a lack of love from anybody, he was faced with pure hatred from everybody.

Sure it'd be ideal for naruto to spend more time with Bolt, but to compare the two's situations where Bolt grows with friends, siblings, both parents, and as the son of the world's savior and defaces the hokage monument for his father's attention vs naruto being hated by everyone and defaces the hokage monument for anyone's attention, I don't know, their situations and what they have to deal with are nothing alike so I don't see how you can claim blatant hypocricy on naruto's part.

The manga was just playing homage to past events for nostalga, after the fact naruto realized he should spend more time with bolt and does so, which makes him late for the gokage meeting.
