We all know about program FAIRVIEW, PRISM, BULLRUN. They are mass surveillance systems designed to detect terrorist threats by data-mining phone, internet and e-mail conversations and basically "searches" you do over the internet that might trigger a red mark on you.

Now Program Fairview is a secret mass surveillance program run by the National Security Agency, aimed at collecting phone, internet and e-mail data in bulk from the computers and mobile telephones of foreign countries' citizens.

The Prism program collects stored Internet communications based on demands made to Internet companies such as Google Inc. under Section 702 of the FISA Amendments Act of 2008 to turn over any data that match court-approved search terms.

Bullrun (stylized BULLRUN) is a clandestine, highly classified decryption program run by the United States National Security Agency (NSA). The British signals intelligence agency Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) has a similar program codenamed Edgehill.

These programs, though are intrusive to our privacy to a certain degree do not however invade our privacy as such. But what if the government had created a Super AI system - one that basically gives no human in the world privacy, a program that can watch you (through any camera device you have) or find you (through your mobile phone).

How would you feel then?

If they want to watch me meditate and/or drink tea they are more than welcome. Maybe they'll learn how to brew a pot of real tea.

However with this system it can identify you, give you designations; Irrelevant (Non-threat) Deviant (Track or Detain) or Threat (Eliminate). i.e .

Basically you're not safe from the government any where unless you're well aware of "shadow zones" basically areas that have no cameras and can survive without the use of having a phone with you. The program will be able to listen to every phone conversation you have, access your hard drive. You basically have no privacy AT all.

Its naiive to think that you can use electronic media like mobile phones, computer, etc, without being under surveillance...
The fault is to use hardware or software devices which are declared by the patriot act of the United states.. The US-goverment can expect that Apple, Microsoft, Facebook hand out their userdata by law.
Use free software like the Linux project..

This shouldn't be legal.

Exactly, but we as citizens don't know about it. We live our regular lives not knowing about this, until one day it comes into revelation. Just imagine what would happen.

I don't think you got the idea of my thread, but that's ok.

So....it's already being worked on?

Lol, no silly, this is just a hypothetical event. Just imagine this system actually existed in our world. All for the sake to protect our lives from terrorists.

I do but it sounds like you are surprised because of this system.
You can make it much harder for your government if you use free software.

And i know that your post was hypothetical.

I recommend you to read this before you question my post, because i think you are quiet uninformed about this topic.

cheers.

Other than looking out for potential threats to the city/country/person, they're not interested in anything else you do with your device (unless you're doing something illegal), and all of it is deleted. You still have some privacy left.

Oh, like how it was Obama's mission to get all the troops back home? Lol

Its your typical public relations slogan. Make a slogan or claim that will calm the masses and none will be against. And then screw them over anyways.

You're few years late, it's unavoidable now. It all started with CCTV in Great Britain, but right about now there are probably countless drones in the skies that keep track of everything.

Welcome to the 4th Reich, make yourself like home.
