Physique is very important in a fight if it's unsufficient to do real damage you won't have a chance if the guy your up against isn't a complete retard. The body builder would just strangle the kid to death or something like that.

If you refer to 558, it was an all-against-everyone skirmish, where anyone could be the hidden enemy.
Not exactly a decisive this-against-that battle.
Nor was it decisively shown that she'd lose for sure - Naruto jumped in BEFORE it could be established.
