Yeah that is funny. Love reading big text of hate. Specially when it sounds like there rustled big time. It pretty much feels like a amusement park.

But do you have an opinion on any of this?

Well he becomes a good guy, and is less of a ****.

The only thing I'm legitimately bothered by is the fact that in every interview he comes off as an aloof author who isn't interested in his own manga anymore. I had some good expectations for the miniseries and to see how he views his own work is discouraging. I didn't grow up with Naruto. I'm not really emotionally invested in this series. Was kind of hoping he would get to push the reboot button in spring and start fresh, but alas, it doesn't seem like that will be the case. Guess I should be more frustrated with myself in that regard.

I scanned through some replies here and there and saw two things that pop out to me.

1. Neji is NaruHina's Cupid( :D?)

2. PPl is Irate.

So based on that my opinion is that this thread is awesome. Might read the interview tomorrow. IDK U_U

Well I did grow up with Naruto. And it did play a part in life etc. So those memories of following it will live on. I guess the problem is he is a bit over worked. He has been doing this for 15 years, so its about time he catches a break. He needs to go out there discover himself. Just be away from the spotlight and start fresh.

Certainly won't begrudge him that. I've said before that I respect the hell out of him for the 15+ years he's poured into this. But if he's done, then just end the series at 700 and be happy. Why drag out a miniseries if you're not into it? Money? I certainly hope that isn't the case.

That money argument is a stupid one because we all work for money. Nobody works for free. Anyways with that said I am guessing he must have been either suggested to continue the series. Or he personally feels like writing Naruto as a father still.

Just hope this little break he's taking helps him reignite his passion. I want to experience a series from Kishimoto like how part one was.

Same here.

Even if he doesn't, I am already attached to many other anime. So I will read this series knowing I got other backup.

This was just side reading in companionship to One Piece for me. But I will admit, there is SOMETHING about this manga that gets you hooked. Kind of like DBZ was in that regard I guess. It's not the best written manga, but anything that lasts 700 chapters is bound to have some flaws. Just a but frustrating looking back and seeing how easy it would've been to fix most of it but meh. No use obsessing over it.

You see this is why I kinda don't call Kishi a complete failure. He made his manga unique in a sense that it caught your eye. He used multiple Japanese cultural things to make it unique as possible. I have a feeling Naruto will be remembered for years and years. Its basically made it self a money making brand. For what its worth I feel following this series was worth it.

Criticizing Kishimoto and his methods =/= branding him a failure. There are just some things he could've done a lot better. Won't take away from his legacy. Naruto will always be a cultural icon, with the likes of Goku and Astroboy.

Lol It was a classical way for Naruto to change people. Its a technique I did not see used before this series.

One thing that really bothers me about this series is that it lacks a "Frieza" type villian. Just a maniacal, tyrannical mother ****er that was designed for you to hate him and he gives no shit about it. None of the major villains were like this IIRC

I don't see him that way but different interpretations I guess.

If you saw him in part 1. He had a unique way of making you hate him. He was freaky, insane, sinister, he also had a good soundtrack to with him in the anime. Even the way he talked it gave you a weird vibe. I just think he was a perfect villain. Till part 2 happen.
