My eloboration? It is all in 1st post. This movie seems cheezy and romance is lame. Characters are not even acting normal just because plot can move. Naruto being upset because he tought Hinata left him for Toneri? This guy did not even give up on Sasuke after the guy declared he would be a mass murderer and are we all forgetting Hinata already confessed him?

Agreed but it's not only kishi . Most of the Shonen Mangaka are terrible in Romance . I think Kishi is slightly better .

You should watch Slam dunk's Romance plot i was trolled big time learned lesson first time not going to learn it again they are all same kind of people.

One word in the end it is shonen Manga . It is this reason i never put big hope in Romances . I was trolled big time with Slam Dunk when author made Love triangle between Rukawa-Hanamichi-Haruko that was biggest fandom nearly years ago and author gone non pairing in the end.

Shonen Mangaka are not good with romance subplot . I am experienced in this category dude .

Good shounen romance:
Rurouni Kenshin - Long development between Kaoru and Kenshin, good conclusion, didn't need movie to make it logical.
Inuyasha - Very good development, characters got in deph with their feelings, logical conclusion.
Magi - The labyrinth of Magic - Even thought manga is still ongoing romance is REALLY good.
Nanatsu no Taizai - also ongoing but romance is good.
Fairy tail - even thought I really hate this manga I must admit romance is good.
Naruto should had not had any romance.

Yeah but Kishimoto is not doing this alone. Hes got someone who is a director of female leads and romance. So he is getting some help right now. I am interested in knowing how he pulls this off. Which is why I am willing to give a chance to this movie. This has nothing to do with your experience. But sitting there laughing at it over spoilers? Kinda makes no sense to me.

Just to tell ya.Its Tsuneo Kobayashi, director of Victorian Romance Emma and the 12th Kingdoms but the former was a hardcore romance story from what I heard

Good shounen romance:
Rurouni Kenshin - Long development between Kaoru and Kenshin, good conclusion, didn't need movie to make it logical.

Rourouni Kenshin is one of a kind manga it was legend during 90's . Ya the Romance plot was good .Young Oda worked as assistant in that Manga do you know that .

Don't know about Magi and others but Inuyasha was Ok though .

You haven't seen the movie. And what's abnormal about their behavior? In this movie it's pretty much hit Naruto that Sakura will never return his feelings.

Wasn't he upset that Toneri took her from him? Naruto getting upset and feeling jealousy over it should be expected. And Sakura pretty much explains to Naruto what those feelings mean and lectures him.


I'm busy so this is about half of what i'm going to really try to discuss with you.

movie sounds great to me. its amazing how people expected alot more from this movie when kishi specifically stated the movie is souly about romance its everything i expected it to be what did you expect from a movie based on romance ? i swear people amaze me more and more each day on the base

Rurouni Kenshin is still gold oroo~ lol. There's a new movie for it with really good animation. Something like Rurouni Kenshin: Shin Kyoto hen, it's reanimated arc.

You should totally read Magi, it beat Naruto in selling this summer. Really good plot, characters, it's also funny as hell, it's comedy on par with one piece. It's the kind of manga that starts slow but once it's finished with intorducing characters it becomes beast. Damn the arc right now is so good, the fight is even better than Naruto vs Sasuke lol.

There are plenty of members who aren't holding their breath for this movie.

Personally, I'm disappointed that the last opportunity for a Naruto movie will consist of a plot that has nothing to do with why I came to love the manga.

Call it whatever you want, but I'm not alone in my opinion. I keep looking at spoilers hoping for a hint of something other than a cheesy fluff story that lots of fanfic authors probably could have done a better job at.

Everybody on the Base is entitled to their opinion, even if it doesn't agree with the majority.
