same with one piece, yu-yu hakusho comes close.

I was disappointed with Bleach...Think I'll finnaly give HunterxHunter 2011 a go. Many people say its quite good and as for fairy tail that anime is dope man.

For action, adventure I could recommend Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X), Brave 10, Hakuoki, Bakumatsu (not so interesting for me), for fantasy and comedy - Hoozuki no Reitetsu (about hell executive's daily routines), Natsume no Yuujinchou (about spirits and the boy who can see them, sort of drama), Daily Lives of High School Boys (you will definitely have a good laugh).
