Why are Mangas not as popular as American comics(in both sales and story quality)?
Because people like to read about the same super hero for 70 years
Same with me, I don't know anyone that Reads american Comics, but I know many anime and manga readers.I live in america, and i know absolutly nobody who reads american comics, though quite a few manga readers.
Sales: because we have access to mangas online. I've read a couple of [marvel] comics online but they only allow a minute few to go publicly free. Some gives you a little taste of it then you'll have to purchase or get a subscription thing or something.
Story: I guess culture has to do with that.
I dislike some americans sometimes for this reason, they diss anime and Manga( and other things that aren't 100% the american way) without reading or experiencing it, then they act like they are experts on the topic when they are clearly not and they are just spewing bullshit. I know a couple people who are like this and they really get on my nervesCause Americans can't see the greatness in manga
Otaku 4 Life B*tches !!!
90% of the comics are shitNah. It's because comic books aren't garbage.
