No the fight wouldn't have ended there... sasuke could've absorbed the rasengan just like he did with kurama's chakra. Naruto was not nerfed either(i'm tired of hearing ppl say this), he ran out of chakra bcuz he had to put every juice of chakra he had left to match Indra's Arrow. Actually, yes, it does. Base Chidori is tanked by Base Rasengan. Kakashi stated as much during Naruto's training to control his elemental affinity.

And it's funny how you say Naruto is cheating by having Kurama gather chakra when Sasuke has to steal it from Naruto. By your very definition Sasuke cheated as well.

Read the manga. His eye abilities still work.

Yes, base rasengan takes a doo doo on base chidori, we have seen this in P1 where Kakashi stopped the fight between them, and both hit the water containers. Naruto's did much more dmg than sasuke, he was even shocked.
So, yeah.
Naruto > Sasuke.
No where does the main character of a shonen manga lose to the antagonist, especially in the last fight. thats just stupid

No no, it's more like your miscomprehension. He had to absorb a massive amount of Natural energy. Sasuke would only have to absorb the Senjutsu within the rasengan, which is barely much since Naruto was gathering from the entire nature around him constantly, and it still took time for Preta to turn into a frog. That means he gathered massive amounts, in short. A rasengan is nothing. Not to mention Naruto wasn't even SM haha...

Juugo power is just as senjutsu as SM of naruto.

Even that hagoromos senjutsu was joke to madara and Obito. Sasuke being on same skill level as hagoromo and controlling whole juubi chakra making a humanoid of it is good enough to handle some pathetic senjutsu rasengan.

It's honestly sad how much kishi had to drag Naruto down just so he could evenly fight with Sasuke. Soon as I seen him power up and he had only three orbs I was like yup, Naruto's gonna have to be neutered to fight Sasuke, tripping right before landing a finishing blow is also a bunch of crap, hopefully kishi can spruce things up because honestly this last fight is pretty pathetic, I hate how both susanoo and the Fox avatar seemingly were removed from plot just so this fight could contain crappy cqc moments. Never mind the fact that Naruto pretty much uses less than ten percent of his arsenal, tbh the last fight so far is a huge let down, the one from part 1 was better.
