We're talking an instant healing factor, better control of wood style, and potential to waken rinnegan

I think you're ignoring the amount of time between Sasuke getting his MS and losing his eyesight. The process took about a few days to at the most a few weeks. People always fail to notice an short time-skip during that part of the story.

That's why he used it for an entire day, died, was brought back, and used it even more.

He used it with a literal hole through his chest. He had no heart and he still used it and even managed to become the Juubi's Jinchuriki.

You need to have Indra and Ashura's chakra to awaken the Rinnegan, has nothing to do with his DNA. Madara only awakened it because he had Indra's chakra, Obito lacks this.
