I read a threat about Gato defeating Hashirama with the help of akatsuki by hiring some of them but I think Hashi is really underrated since the war and I don't know why people tend to forget some stuff if they just don't see it anymore.
the only threats in akatsuki for hashirama are sasori and hidan the rest would be defeated in a one on one battle.
Zetsu - no need to explain
Kakuzu - already fought him and lost
Deidara - is a very strong character but against Hashi's Mokuton: Kōrin Kajukai he has no counter ( actually no one in akatsuki has a counter against this technique except for Kisame but I will come to that later )
Konan - Hashi's Mokuton is too much for her to handle, in seconds he is able to create a forest and Konan's paper bombs don't pack the punch to harm him and for all of you who want to say her 5 minute paper bomb attack would get him in trouble. No it wouldn't because he has too many defensive jutsus that can easily withstand all of her attacks.
Itachi - is in terms of power and mastery of Sharingan superior to Madara so you get the idea I don't want to go in to too much detail.
Kisame - Sucks up chakra which is good but with that this is going to be his own defeat sage chakra is hard to handle even for Kisame. Second point I said before that he is the only one who could counter Mokuton: Kōrin Kajukai and that only with his Suiton: Suirō Same Odori no Jutsu that being said Hashirama and Tobirama are with Killer Bee the perfect counterparts for this Jutsu Killer Bee with his Ink and the both Hokages with Kokuangyō no Jutsu while Kisame would have at first glance the upper hand, by creating pure darkness around him his giant watter bubble will not be of much help and even if that does not work like planned hashi has much room to go up into sky with his Mokuton.
Nagato - Hashi got sage mode first thing to point out. And for the jutsus that are necessary for his win:
Kokuangyō no Jutsu blocking the field of vision wich is for a doujutsu user a huge disadvantage.
Mokuton: Kōrin Kajukai again no counter that could save Nagato from that.
Senpō: Mokuton: Shin Sūsenju......this is just Overkill.
Kuchiyose: Gojū Rashōmon when nothing helps he got them.
Now for the ones that could be a problem Sasori and Hidan.
And with they could be a problem I don't mean that they would defeat him but they are the only ones that have the potential to kill him due to a couple of reasons.
Hidan just needs a drop of blood from Hashi and the game would be over, well if he is able to get that drop of blood.
Ans Sasori is dangerous because of his poison but then Hashi still got Wood clones. The rest of his arsenal can be countered easily by defensive Wood Jutsus.
If there is a team up things will go differently but no one would be able to win against akatsuki if they fight together Hidan is the answer to everything in the end.
