well for a long time they were very proud to announce that we hit 100,000 members on the Home banner but I would say '09 is when it went big

I came from an online game called naruto arena which also had a forum I'm an 07 member there but I have always read the Naruto manga on NB since 2008. I was an anime only fan from 05 when it came out on CN to that point

I remember when I first joined back in '09 it was just awesome. Everyone was super chill and hilarious and I remember not being able to wait until I logged in again. I met so many people from all around the world that enjoyed the same thing I did which was anime, specifically Naruto. A lot of people were active and it could be anytime of the day and people were on.

The further back you go in NB, the better it was. I really enjoyed NB mid 2012 to late 2013 but 2014 definitely ain't it's most enjoyable year. Plus, the old NB just had better members.

I just got bored of posting so I decided to browse around the site , somehow I ended up on the main mods profile. I noticed members who are not on this site anymore. I wish I was on this site way back then , it seemed like it was a hell of a lot better
