OT: As much as i dislike the character i'll admit now that i would be sad. Mainly because i opened up for the character the moment that he started working with Naruto again. To be honest, I wouldn't feel any emotion. He's just a fictional character that has no relation to me in real life whatsoever. I feel indifferent to most of the Naruto cast at the moment. At least out of the ones still alive. I wouldn't react at all to his death, just continue reading.

What I'd react to is the fandom's reaction. I'd get my popcorn ready and see all the flame wars and anger online. And proceed to laugh.

I would be disappointed... Somewhat, he is right about the state of affairs being due to discrete egotistic interest of the larger nations... I would want to know more about what he would want to do and make steps towards what he thinks right... without killing everyone of course without deliberation. On that had, he's far too mercurial.

Really though, I think I might just grin devellishly during his final moments if this were to happen. It's not that I have anything against him either... it's just in the moment I think it'd be fitting for his character. I'd probably regret wanting this to happen afterwards though.
