Sasuke doesn't overdo things like Madara he only used as much chakra as needed because why waste the chakra just to look more badass? he's always been conservative in a fight look at the Deidara fight i mean with him having full control of his abilities at this point or close to it he seems to be confident in his rinnegan abilities now and with sage chakra senjutsu flowing through him his attacks are going to be at a bigger more powerful versions of themselves.

The only thing I know that once Madara gained both Rinnegan he was not intimidated or felt threatened by Naruto and Sasuke in any way. Opposite side I mean Naruto and Sasuke have hard time to deal with his plaything aka rain of meteorites.

what manga are you reading? sasuke was pretty much thrashing him the entire encounter which ended in madara being split in two. 3 rinnegan juubi madara is the only one ahead of him.
