I feel that Kishi has forced this fight between Naruto and Sasuke to appease fans, it felt forced and I thought it was a trolled chapter for a moment.

Still I suppose that this is where Naruto and Sasuke fight and Naruto saves Sasuke. I Naruto kills Sasuke and doesn't die with him the story will be blown to pieces, we know Naruto doesn't die so unless Kishi is going to destroy Naruto as a character and have him kill Sasuke which would burn the manga to the ground, Naruto is not going to start hating his friend, I guess this is Kishi's way if having Naruto finally save Sasuke.

Remember the key to Naruto's character is that he NEVER goes back on his word and the core of the sotry was Naruto saving Sasuke, so I guess this is where that happens?

If Sasuke dies,all hope for this manga is lost...It wouldn't have a point then...I agree with you,this fight is beyond forced. After Sasuke helped in the war there really wasn't a reason for a fight,but I guess you have to please the fans.

If Naruto kills Sasuke he will be an arse, Sasuke is a product of the Shinobi cruelty if Naruto fails to save him and kills him instead the whole story was pointless, Naruto has spent years trying to save Sasuke from himself if he kills him now then the whole story was pointless.

Maybe it was foreshadowed but the way it was done feels forced.

The whole thing was manipulated to give the fans the token Naruto and Sasuke fight which should have happened before the fight with Kaguya. Naruto MUST save Sasuke or the whole story never had a point, Kishi is on dangerous ground.

I don't feel the force here. It was stated and hinted several times Naruto and Sasuke were going to have some kind of final battle. Now that it's finally happening it's "just to appease fans"?

It was forshadowed looooooooooooooooooooong time ago when Gamamaru gave his prophecy about Naruto ......and also during the war when Sasuke said he wanted to become Hokage or when we were not shown Sasuke's answer. Although u can say that it was a bit rushed. U_U

I don't care about the fight, I care about Sasuke being killed, granted Naruto is my favourite so this isn't about favourite characters but if Naruto kills Sasuke the whole character and story will be utterly destroyed.

It was foreshadowed, but it was forced considering how they were all just acting. :| It was a bit rushed, but pretty good nonetheless.

I don't think I can read this, I think I will stop following the manga until it has finished and then read what I missed, I have spent too many years and too much patience with all the sorrow Naruto has had as a story to see it unfold into a sham, if Kishi has Naruto kill Sasuke and live himself the character and story will be destroyed, I think I will wait, see if he punches himself in the nuts and if he doesn't then picked it up where I left off.

We know Naruto isn't going to die, because of the movie that will come out soon.
It only leaves three possiblities:
-Naruto won and Sasuke died.
-Naruto won and managed to get Sasuke on his side.
-Naruto Talk no jutsu'd Sasuke.

This is a fight only between Sasuke and Naruto, Naruto will not kill Sasuke unless he dies, if he does the character is ruined, what happened to "I will shoulder your hate and die with you"? If Kishi does that, then he unravels the whole story and character, Naruto never goes back on his word its the core of the character, he either saves Sasuke or he dies with him, end of story.

Thinking back now may be sasuke wasn't goin to kill madara may b goin to revive him to fight alongside him

The problem is that Sasuke suddenly looks more powerful than he was in the Kaguya fight. It seems so sudden. Sasuke says "I have been mastering by Rinnegan through the war" when the ONLY thing he used was teleportation prior to this chapter. I think this is piss poor writing in that regard. But the motives are not forced; everyone knew that Sasuke's ideals were different from naruto's.

tbh it was a bit obv that sasuke wasnt showing his true strength in that kaguya battle. he used ps, it got wrecked yet he still used it again, he also amaterasu, something hes always had. he has the freaking tomoed rinnegan so there had to be more to the eye which is what we are now about to witness. so it could be that he was still mastering his eye during the fight or he was saving his strength for now. but the way he just changed feels a bit sudden altho hes always had a different motive.
