I read it somewhere. The reason why anime and manga characters shout the name of whatever they do is to motivate viewers, which are mostly children, to shout them too together with the character, increasing thus the hype the kids have for that specific character. It's all marketing if you think about it. Little kids shout the names, they get attached to that character, they want to watch it more and more, parents buy them manga >>> profit.

Honestly, to me it feels more epic. If done right by the Anime studio, they actually give me chills. Examples:

Itachi's "Susano'o!":

Naruto's "Rasen-Shuriken!"

Madara's "Jukai Koutan!"

I'm not seeing it doesn't sound epic sometimes. But when I think about it again, it loses (for me at least) all of the epicness because it's a retarded thing to do.

Because Naruto is the only series that does that

If you want to make up an explanation think of it as part of casting jutsu. Just like they need handseals to mold the chakra they could need to call the name of said jutsu. Of course will practice and skill or more chakra or whatever they can be cast without handselas or saying the name. I don't know how to explain taijutsu stuff though in that case though.

Yeah, i agree. I also like when sasuke says ''Amaterasu!'' example: vs raikage

It might just be common practice. DB, Bleach, Street Fighter, etc. all use the same method to make certain moves seem special. In Bleach, calling the name also serves to make the technique stronger for some reason.

In Narutoverse, I don't think there is a particular reason for calling out a technique, and many times it is only thought, or the name is completely omitted. Characters don't call out the names of most basic techniques (substitution jutsu, body flicker, etc), and some characters don't really yell out their techniques either (Obito used Kamui all the time, but never really called it out).

I think it is mostly to differentiate between the attacks being used for the audience. However, it would be weird without a way of differentiating between similar techniques. Plus, some techniques need appropriate names in order to not be completely awkward. This is demonstrated in the most recent anime episode when Minato tried to name Sasuke and Naruto's combined attack. Another example would be 1000 Years of Death; without a name, it would just be odd. Finally, most of the elemental techniques look very similar, and need some sort of differentiation to make them seem unique.

Honestly, I see nothing wrong with it. With them yelling it out, the characters are able to give it some brand value to the attack. If Naruto for example never shouted out "Rasen-Shuriken!" it would not feel as special. Now with that said, I kinda find it funny how your comparing real life fights with fictional fights. Even in real life anything that is considered fake has a special name for its attack. Like look at WWE for example. The commentators of it yell out the name of the move the person is doing. It makes people aware of what there seeing. One is visual, one is reading or hearing. Makes the attack more memorable in my opinion.

I was starting to think I was the only person who actually appreciated some of them.
However, I think if I was watching a dubbed version, it might annoy me.

Is this even a question? If they didn't shout their moves and explain what they were, we would have no idea what the hell was going on.

Almost every manga does this. Regardless it sounds cool in the anime/manga.

Because the same thing happens in EVERY. SINGLE. MANGA. But, it is really stupid, especially in a world of Shinobi... :|

*Kakashi on an assassination mission*
'I'll take out this guy in front of me silently with my Raikiri.'
*Charges up Jutsu*
"RAIKIRI!"
*Dude jumps out of the way, having being alerted with the shout*
"How did know I was there?!"
