You claimed there's nothing in Oro's arsenal that can put Oro down, so i made a list of things that pose a threat for him. It doesn't mean all or any of them can reach him, this was just tell otherwise (that some of Oro's arsenal can be fatal for Kisame).
I also see you've got (imo) some misconception, so i'll adress your post more deeply.

8 Branches are canonically stronger than Manda, and anyone who reads the manga knows what Manda is capable of.

Except those tiny fodder snakes can easily slip through a multitude of beings while the sharks don't possess the same agility given their size and bodies.
They don't necessarily have to confront the sharks (at least not all of them).

Kisame wins mid diff against a non-Zetsu Orochimaru.

Well lets see, Orochimaru's offensive power against kisame: The only things he has that might do him any good are
1.Manda but as far as we know he can't breath under water so kisames giant water dome tech should provide ample defense against him and despite mandas size samehada could still deal fatal damage

and that's it lol I mean poison wouldn't do much good since kisame can heal with samehada and oros grass long sword wouldn't get through samehada and any wounds would be healed. I mean kisames sword samehada might be oros worse enemy when you consider that it can absorb chakra and it seems to take a lot of chakra for oro to do half the shit he does, shit that wouldn't even be able to take kisame down due to samehadas defense, offense and healing. Oro could try multiple small or giant snakes summonings but kisame can cover the battlefield with water and summon sharks.....1000's of them, as many to match oros snakes and not to mention kisames water shark bombs would pose as a quick way to take out a cluttered mess of snakes and would make the bigger ones easy targets.

Now oros white snake form, the giant version, might pose a serious problem that is without a doubt. Water dome could prove good defense but I feel as though in giant white snake form oro could just bust the water dome open......but the thing about this form is that it seems to be available, from what we saw, when oro is on his last legs....

manda and giant white snake form are the only useful things oro has over kisame while when we examine kisames offense against oro we have:

Samehada chops through oro and every summon he has while absorbing chakra making it, eventually, impossible for oro to shed his skin with that rebirth tech. Shark summons in summoned water are also superior to anything oro has.....and water shark bombs are useful but the giant water shark bomb might even do considerable damage to giant white snake form oro

Kisame wins with the highest difficulty imaginable unless oro can get samehada away from him, then hes screwed.

With full intel, though, can't he prepare a clone outside of the dome, summon Manda inside of it then hide inside his nose, then have it summoned outside of the dome via the clone?

Ok so? Current Orochimaru does have access to Manda. I would say the same thing about Sasuke.

It can steal chakra. Doesnt have to harm it. 8 branches is just a transformation jutsu. All it can do is ram things.

Just like Hiruzen is "canonically" stronger than Ay and Onoki. This is a versus colosseum as you said. Its a big hydra that rams.

The sharks can confront them though and its not hard to see where Orochimaru is launching his snakes. Theres no plausible way to you can even say how 1000 fodder snakes > 1000 water sharks.

--He can use his samehada to still absorb orochimarus charka at CQC, and his use of weaponry is also better than orochimaru, therefore preventing him from getting pierceed by kusangi,

--Kisame can also use his samehada to help him repair from any damage that orochimaru may cause him,

--1000 feeding sharks alongside large scale suitons allow kisame to get rid of most of the summons quite well, as he can also use his water prison jutsu to immobilise orochimaru thus allowing him to finish oro off

--once water dome comes, orochimaru really doesnt stand much of a chance, since he would constantly get attacked and his chakra getting taken, not to mention that he lacks the diversions to get out of iit

--GSB can also be used seeing how orochimaru lacks a way to counter atttack it, thereby allowing kisames shark to eat him up

To add to what Kifflom said, Oro's chakra still gets absorbed as long as he's in the water dome. Kisame doesn't need to make contact or even get close. As long as he's inside, his chakra gets sucked.
