There is no excuse or motive to insult/disrespect people randomly. Doesn't matter if he or his group were opressed in the past, that's not an excuse to be above their duties as citizens. The white people in there had nothing do with his problem. Being a part of a group in which the only similarity is a genetical characterisct doesn't make you responsible for what a part of this group did.

Thus, those are innocent citizens, not opressors. Therefore, that guy has no right to disrespect them. And as he is desrespecting them because of their race, it's racism.

Honestly in that moment, I would've done the samething trayvons did and attack him. There is a great chance that zimmermann would've shot him in the back if trayvons had run away.
