Not really. He want to be hokage and inspire people. He got the 3rd hokage grandson trying to fight like him. As he get older, he will realize that he can't fight like naruto. Therefore, naruto fighting style just unrealistic in NV.

I would personally vouch for Madara being the most versatile character:

~Kenjutsu: Prowess is above average.
~Genjutsu: Strongest Genjutsu in the verse.
~Intelligence: One of the smartest characters in the Verse.
~Ninjutsu: Some of the strongest Ninjutsu in the Verse.
~Taijutsu (Skill): Prowess is above average.
~Speed: One of the fastest characters in the Verse.
~Summonings: Had the strongest summonings in the Verse (Kurama and Gedo Mazu)
~Healing: Has the greatest Self Regeneration in the Verse.
~Strength: Prowess is above average.
~Durability: One of the most durable characters in the Verse (The most durable?)
~Stamina: Has some of the greatest Stamina in the Verse.
~Weapon(s): Has one of the most deadliest weapons in the Verse (Gunbai)
~Doujutsu: He has the greatest mastery of Doujutsu in the Verse.
~Senjutsu: Has shown some level of mastery of Senjutsu.

The bolded are the things he has Naruto beat in. His Doujutsu kinda makes up for the inferiority he has too Naruto in Ninjutsu. He has the greatest Self Regeneration in the manga while Naruto is the best Medic (By which I mean, healing of others), so I guess you can say they are kinda equal in that aspect. He is also equal with Naruto in Taijutsu skill (As displayed when his Limbo clones and Naruto's clones clashed, although in the end, the Limbo clones came out victorious).

He has all the Haxx you can possibly need all the Paths, Izanagi, Limbo, IT, Omnyoden and Susanoo as well as the strongest Kekkei Genkai (Mokuton).

Needless to say Naruto is still a very versatile character, I just don't see him as being more versatile then Madara though. Sasuke is also someone I find just as versatile as Naruto (Possibly even more), Hiruzen is another hounerable mention.

Naruto had them frogs helping him out and most of his moves was just luck or out of rage. Top it off, if it was a truly one on one fight, he would've lost for sure. Naruto don't adapt to situation, he simply just overpower it or let the 9 tails do the work or have friends help him.

Sasuke(Before getting his MS) and Kakashi are alike. My point is you can raise a ninja to fight like kakashi. But you can't raise a ninja to fight like naruto.

We haven't seen enough one on one fights for naruto to call him a versatile ninja.

What is wrong with him getting help from some frogs? Isn't that the idea of this show? Called "Teamwork". Your posts are sounding very biased now, your sounding like another Sasuke fan boy. Naruto does not need just pure power. He uses his clones skillfully to analyze his opponents before going into battle. He than tries to find a weakness to win. His clones are something more than just blow up dummies. Yes he spams Rasengans but he backs it up with different variations. Big or small it don't matter they can be used in just about anyway. Like others have mentioned before they got different trajectory long range, mid-range, close range. Not to mention how many great abilities he has to combo into his arsenal.

No you can't raise a ninja to be like Kakashi. Not many have become Jonin at the age he was in. Kakashi was a well known genius at the beginning of his years as a ninja. He is probably one of the most unrealistic characters out there.

I was thinking Kakashi using the Sharingan to get information from the enemy directly, not just eavesdropping or shit like that. Kakashi can use Genjutsu to get someone to answer questions.

Whoa whoa whoa, now we're talking about who is the better leader? That is a completely different argument than versatility. The Fourth Raikage is probably the least versatile character in the series, but he was elected to lead the entire Shinobi Army and was fitting to lead Kumogakure.

Naruto sensed the war going on from the Turtle Island, which was specifically moved far away from the war. Karin, the 2nd Hokage and the 4th Hokage haven't sensed chakra at such a distance, ever, as it took Naruto much longer to reach the war than they did from Konoha.
