[Discussion] Will Naruto lose all of his powers after the war?

A part 3 is being very anticipated right now. And the way I see it, and many others will agree, Naruto being the strongest man on earth at that point in time will mean that nobody will even consider stepping to him. And if so, that may only be Sasuke at the end of the series if they fight for Hokage.

Or maybe Part 3 will have a much, much lesser emphasis on fighting... which I totally wouldn't mind. What do you think?

I doubt he would lose his powers. Part 3 will probably feature more powerful enemies than even kaguya (perhaps they are the one kaguya is making an army to fight)

No suckske uchichi character in part 3. That character was only there until now to develop the main character's strength and show a difference in principle. So suckske is no longer needed as the story moves past Naruto's strength development. Kishimoto will likely kill suckske off in the final battle. That then leaves room for new characters that can be used to develop Naruto in the context of part 3 plot.

Someone suggested two new characters - a new rival for an older Naruto and a new strong female character. That would serve the part 3 story well, IMO.

With respect to retaining power, obviously Naruto is already a sage and would retain that power. Consistency dictates that he retain some amount of bijuu, as well, or he would die and the story would be over. Of course kishimoto could contrive a yet unknown mechanism for Naruto to free the bijuus (cough...a$$pull).
