So Obito is able to use his eye power even in the spirit world, like a transmigrant stuff, Just like Hagoromo did and also, its almost the same as when Tsunade's boyfriend gave her chakra from the transmigrant jutsu that he did by flying to her.
Kishi has been hinting that this is possible all along but only with certain people with some form of teleportation… Even Minato and Kushina gave Naruto some chakra under different circumstances.
This time, it is Obito who used his eyes to jump back and passed it unto Kakashi, but this time he gives him the two eyes which grants him a double MS, so he can harness the true power of the sharingan eyes.
Now that I have said that, we all know that Kakashi is known for his ability to mimic or copy other people's technique… so now that he has two sharingans, he can copy any technique that is including a sharingan technique as he now has the same eyes x2…
If we noticed and think about it, the power of Obito's eyes is to copy techniques, so now that Kakashi has the two, he is able to unlock Susanoo but instead of just bringing out his own Susanoo he made it many steps better by copying Sasuke's susanoo.
Just like Kakashi is able to use water style jutsu but not as good as Kisame but if you watch when Itachi and Kisame came to the Leaf village to look for Naruto, Kakshi was able to perform Water style: water dragon on the same scale as Kisame by copying him in an instant as soon as he got the eyes he looked at Sasuke's Susanoo and copied it straight away with the double MS.
BTW He's able to unlock Susanoo with two MS (the true power comes when the two are together) so he just copied Sasuke's and just turned his own into that at the same time. Obito was also good at copying which is why he knows almost every technique, so his eye ability is to see the secret and formation of a jutsu.
However, his susanoo will not possess the same attribute like that of Sasuke (e.g deflecting light of Eternal Tsukyomi, shooting arrow or blaze release from his arm) or Madara (with four arms and swords).
These form the true powers of Obito's eyes when they are together.
Remember the MS has 3 powers and for now we know two or three for this obito's eye
1. Teleportation
2. Copying jutsus
3 I don't know if this counts but I will say passing through objects/ I think its the Susanoo (because during the beginning of the war Obito used Uchiha Kinjutsu which is like some form of susanoo part to protect the 10 tails when it was forming)
Sasuke and Itachi had
1. Susanoo 2. Amaterasu and 3. Genjutsu
So I don't understand why people are so surprised… I guess its because of how quick Kishi did it all in one chapter and it was a chapter that people didn't know what to expect…
We all knew that Kakashi would have to get the sharingan back but Kishi used our expectation to play with our mind by letting Obito crumble first and then we lost hope of Kakashi getting it back… then he made Obito come from the spirit world because he had to renew the eyes before giving it to Kakashi (if you remember their eyesight were already going bad), also the eyes can teleport which is the main reason he could come back quickly to enter inside Kakashi.
