lord of the rings equals 3/5 minutes well worth watching.

i think the "fighting" in Harry Potter is lame... Wand versus Wand... come on? XD
it was such a huge let down for me that no one in the whole Harry Potter universe ever was a TRUE Wizard...

only making things levitate, turn into a cat and shoot a green beam that kills... even if Voldemort was such a strong Wizard... he was such a let down lol...

all the "Wizard Spells" were lame spells

the LoTR book is one of the most critically acclaimed books, not to mention the best selling book of the previous century and Tolkien is the father of high fantasy

the Academy Awards/BAFTA/... already answered the question regarding the movies, the LoTR movies are some of the best ever filmed and quite likely the greatest in scale and production and the best epics

Trying to read the Lord of the Rings books was basically impossible. I only got to page like 130 but loved the movies. However, I love Harry Potter more than any other literature in history

One created a genre often mimicked but never duplicated. Another is a decent movie franchise, but come now the introduction of the Elder Wand, Resurrection Stone? Was that supposed to compare with the insidious nature of the One Ring? Lol
