I really hated his character through out the series,to me he was just a cry baby who didn't want to see the reality...He did awful things and he had to die that's for sure. Do all of the people of Konoha,or the nations fighting need to be sorry for him no? No . But in the end he did do things that are good,and seeing him with Rin was a pretty beautiful moment.
