Sasuke only used Chidori and teleportation, Naruto only used Gudo Dama to clash with Madara and Jiton Rasengan. Either one going all out would beat the team that fought Madara, meaning either one handles Madara (Post Shinju absorption) with one eye.

What's even worse is that the Madara they manhandled was stronger than the one Gai failed to kill.

Lol, hell no. First of all. Gai fought Madara before he absorbed the Shinju, which means power boost. Naruto and Sasuke fought Madara after he absorbed the Shinju. Second of all, nobody ever admitted that without the both of them, they'd lose. Naruto simply said "We'll fight you together". Finally, Naruto and Sasuke weren't going anywhere close to full power and they shat on Madara so hard that he had to run away and get his other eye back, so Naruto and Sasuke (Not at full power)>Shinju Madara>Pre Shinju Madara>Eighth Gate Gai. Based on their display, either one at full power would wreck the Naruto and Sasuke if restricted to the moves they used to beat on Madara, which is just Rinnegan teleportation, Chidori from Sasuke, and Jiton Rasengan and Gudo Dama staffs from Naruto.

Either one wrecks Gai if they go all out.

I think you're mistaken here, Madara after absorbing the shinju didn't show any major power boost, for all we know it could have simply given him more chakra.. And you can have all the chakra in the world you want but if there are no justus to use the chakra for then it's irrelevant..

The Madara that fought Gai is the same one that fought Sasuke and Naruto and he was only hard pressed because they were fighting him together NOT individually, don't forget that Naruto already pinned down his Limbo clone b4 Sasuke cut him into half, it was a joint effort

More chakra equals more power. The Shinju is the final form of the Juubi, more Juubi chakra, more power. The manga has made that clear.

Yeah, it was a joint effort when they were fighting nowhere near their full power. With the feats they have shown, either one could do everything the team accomplished against Madara. That includes beating him.
