Do you think it was a bad idea for sakura to be a medic(supporting role)

There is alot of hate for sakura, but do you think it might have worsened when she only assumed a supporting role as a medic? Its like shizune, while healing people is nice and all its nothing really epic or awesome. This is why i cant really "hate" shizune because she hasnt really done anything.

I feel like in an shonen manga people want to see action and after her big flop in part 1 it wouldve been nice to see her actually do something.

I mean come on! Im sure alot of you thought tsunade was the weak old hag but after she stood up to madara most of ya'll probably liked her alittle more after that. I mean the other k9 fodders all had there BIG moments in part one like the sasuke retrieval arc and since there was nothing really wrong with them, it only improved their image. Especially with the screen time ino-shika-cho has gotten throughout the series. Hinata got more popularity after standing up to pain. Heck i even like karin more then sakura just because.

I think sakura needs one good fight (or epic moment) to turn alot of her hate around but considering where we are in the story she will mostly be known as that healer which is useless to alot of people. Most people dont actually care about healers that much actually. If kishi really wanted to improve her image he should let sasuke get in a fight and sakura goes in with obito and actually contributes to the fight instead of getting solo'd and needing rescued.

tsunade is a fighter and a healer. im asking if sakura being useless in a fight and only healing was the right thing to do, like look at tsunade for example. or karin, she had her moment a whiles back

OT: At this point, Sakura doesn't have enough power to be of any major difference in future battles. Though she may play a role in analyzing Kaguya's space-time tech or helping to find Sasuke.

Sakura isn't useless, she's useless against god, demi gods,etc.

And smh sakura is clearly not useless in a fight, she just didn't fight. Replace sakura and tsunade same results. Karin used chakra chains and did a offensive approach for the 2nd time.

I guess you could say that her helping to keep Naruto alive after Kurama was extracted was a good moment for her.

not impressive to me as she wouldve died without granny and im not saying she is actually useless but when push comes to shove she hardly fights or doesnt anything. even when she is in a group sakura is usually on the sidelines

Sakura is only inferior to Naruto and Sasuke for a couple reasons, no nature transformation, no speed feats, no versatility, and lacks range. Fix these problems and Sakura wouldn't lose half of her matches on the base imo.

Yes this point is basically the fact.
This is shonen manga.People wants fight;action and blood.
If MC don't provide they will call him/her useless.
