So our corpses magically turn into a beam of energy that enters another dimension? Interesting.

We don't know that. There's no proof of what happens after we die, maybe it's heaven? Nirvana? Reincarnation? Who the f*ck knows. There's no way to prove anything, which is why I'm agnostic

So atheists. Where's your 100% facts that god doesn't exist?
Well we have proved that he hasn't done shit but either I could say a unicorn created the universe and you couldn't prove that that unicorn doesn't exist...

Energy cannot be destroyed. It doesn't just disappear like a fart in the wind

That doesn't mean energy can't stop being produced. Upon death our bodies will no longer convert the energy we get from food and drinks into energy we can use to run our bodies. If too much damage happens to our bodies, through whatever means that may be, the energy conversion will stop. Once we die, we become a mass of built up energy to be eaten by other life forms, who then convert us into their energy. The energy just doesn't dissapear, it is stored in the mass of our dead bodies until something eats it and undergoes processes to turn us into energy. Other energy like heat energy or body gives off will transfer to the surrounding after death as well until the body is cold.

Because it means our energy is still existing when we die. Which opens to the door of it going to a possible heaven.

Our energy goes into the soil where fungus & insects feed off of it. 6th grade science bruh

No way to prove anything? Ok

That's certainly a possibility. But there's no way to 100% knkw until we actually die. So we will have to see what happens.

I think you mean the universe but either way even if it all had a beggining seeing as God didn't do anything else he probably didn't create it

And with that I ask you, did God just pop out of nowhere?

Well since out bodies are not a closed system, any energy left in them is either stored in chemical bonds, or absorbed by the surroundings. Thus, energy is not lost; it is transferred/transformed.

"...so our energy doesn't just disappear or get destroyed like they claim."
Who is they? Any credible scientist will tell you that energy cannot be destroyed or disappear. That would violate the law of conservation of energy. Source please.

I think you mean the universe but either way maths already proved there can be a infinite number of Universes, and even if it all had a beggining seeing as God didn't do anything else he probably didn't create it

If you actually read, you could see I'm agnostic. There's no proof of a god, and no proof that there isn't a good. It will be determined if there is, after we die.

He "probably" didn't create shows you have some doubt that maybe he did create it, showing you're not 100% certain there isn't a god.

They as in many atheists I've talked too

Are you really agnostic? How and Why?

The truth is everyone is agnostic unless they actually have a conversation with "GOD" no matter what anyone says..
You can't know something if you don't actually know it. Agnostic definition isn't the right term for this statement , but anyone who claims faith , doesn't actually have faith , but rather are just reciting what they learned or were taught. Maybe they actually believe it, but if it came from a book, or other people, they are really just hearsay and rumors since the "believer" doesn't "know" and are just hoping at the end of their lives, they "see" "GOD".

Many atheists believe that once we die, that's the end of it. It's just like before we were Born.
we were sperm before we were born

We still don't what happened before the Big Bang so there's still a really little chance of being a old dude who suprisingly made us (things smaller than dust in comparison with the universe) with his looks

We were nothing before the sperm of ourselves in our father was produced

Huh what? No we know, because we can observe other peoples deaths.

From what I can see is that you are relating a person's soul to energy. Your argument would hinge on whether or not we have a soul, and whether or not that soul is comprised of energy. Neither of which at this point of time is verifiable.

And even if we have souls comprised of energy, there isn't any proof whether or not it would go anywhere.

And that's what I'm saying. There's no way to prove, or disprove it. So we will have to wait and see.

As you seem to take forever I'll extrapolate whatever nonsense you've provided.

"I am agnostic before you ask. There is no way to prove what happens after we die, but our energy has to go somewhere.. The law applies to us, so it doesn't just get destroyed."

Firstly even though you claim to be agnostic, you seem to lean towards wanting there to be a god; understandable since that would provide comfort. Unfortunately it's the same naive thinking that conjured up all the religions we have today.

Secondly the universe is much larger than you or I could ever conceptualise, in fact we can't see beyond the observable universe, in addition it's most likely that the universe is in fact infinite. Regardless of the case this means the energy left behind (mostly heat and sound) can just spread out and get lost (it doesn't mean it's destroyed).

However I suppose on the upside, it is theoretically possible to reassemble you from this energy( though this would require technology we won't have for some time, if ever). All in all if you're worried about dying forever, you should spend more time educating yourself on singularity, nanotechnology, robotics and few related areas. As it it's obvious that you're afraid of death.
