What bug's me about Kishimoto

Really? It's a "Battle" Manga? Is that even a genre? Because i'm pretty sure there's some sort of battle (whether it be physical or emotional) in every manga. There doesn't need to be a load of character deaths to tell a good story.

It's true that in some cases, a characters death can benefit a story, but I think the route he went with Gai is perfectly fine. You act as if Naruto wasn't given a power-up before it had happened, and if that was the case then yes I would be agreeing with you. However, he was given power by the SO6P, and Kishimoto was showcasing one of those powers. It was a plot-twist, considering we knew that once you released the last gate you'd lose your life in the process, however it isn't a bad decision in the case of story-telling, because he was given that ability by the SO6P. Whether you like it or not, in my opinion I enjoyed the plot-twist.

Why should Bee have died? You don't really even listen any reasons as to why he should be killed off for the sake of the story, you just said "always the same shit" :eww:

And Neji's death wasn't "forced", especially not for that reason. There's a good meaning behind his death, whether you choose to see it or not.

Kishi gave us hints Guy was going to die through the entire series. Guy never opened the final gate, because once he did he was sure to die (and if it wasn't for Naruto's upgrade, he would have). They gave him the flashback treatmeant during his battle with Madara, and surely made it seem as if he was going to die. Now, based off the facts we've learned earlier on in the series, and the flashback chapter, we all believe he is sure to die. However, Naruto received power from the SO6P, and completely turned everything around, making it a twist.

Twists can sometimes make, or break a story. However, in this case I feel as if it was a well pulled-off twist and enjoyed experiencing it. However, if Naruto wasn't given an upgrade on the other hand i'd be able to see where you're coming from. However, that isn't the case. So quit complaining about how he was "meant" to die just because you believed throughout the series he would die the moment he released the final gate.

1. It was the Gokasge's Tsunade was ripped in two Halfs and that ***** survived because of some facking snail haha wtf
2. Guy his death was bulit up over many chapter's, and then this dude gets saved by Narujesus

My problem is that we are in an war, probably the most important arc in the Naruto Story
I mean okay some fodder died but nobody care's about them

The only main character which died was Neji (and his death kinda felt forced, atleast imo) so that he has not to kill other Character's off

Remember People, it is an Shonen BATTLE Manga
and we are in an friggin war but nobody dies

Death'S are important for an story we all know that

people did die, lots of shinobi died....they were just irrelevant shinobies...just because kishi is writing about a war now, doesnt mean he has to kill every single character to amuse you....kills everyone in the war and then have nothing to write about because everyone is dead.....no sense in that now....you need people alive for there to be a winner....

- bijuu getting ripped out of you, let alone 9 of them
- Tsunade should of died, in half, uses powerful summon

Gai I can't help but feel was a moment thing (Kishi does go week by week right? [maybe that's a problem?]). It was probably to show that Naruto can save everyone after they some how defeat Kaguya. Like you said he had a flashback to make you anticipate his death, plus he was making a sacrifice (for practically nothing unfortunately).

EDIT: At the end of the day it's Kishi's manga, so he can make "NaruJesus".

I completely agree with you, I felt the same way. Like when the 5 Kage were shown f*cked up I was like this is real, but they came back. same with Gai and all the others. Even when Neji died I thought that was the beginning of many deaths to come but nope, not a single casualty afterwards besides some useless fodders.

It was never stated that the sage could restore someone's life force if they were dying with no repercussions. The rinne tensei was the only known jutsu that was similar and it can only revive the dead. It was an asspull. And for those saying it was a plot twist, it was NOT. It was a retcon and a poor one at that.

you see, once you become a top rated ninja, your survival rate in many situations becomes very high. So, not all side characters will die.

As for deaths in the war, neji died, people at shinobi HQ who were directly involved in the fight were wiped out in one go, thousands of fodder, samui and her brother were sealed, etc. Throughout the manga, hiruzen, minato, khushina, akatsuki, jiraiya, itachi, 99% of the uchiha clan, hidden rain trio, and many others who were at some point involved with the story died.
