Most likly not.
Back when you were BlackGod not Lord God. Haha
Here's a good theory of mine: Itachi was the worst double agent in the history of fiction! He didn't even know about the full details of the infinite tsukuyomi, when his partner Kisame did. LOL!
Maybe because if Obito told him, Itachi would of killed him right then and there.
Btw, I think this theory is extremely plausible.
Itachi had many more reasons than that to kill him.
Itach didn't kill obito because it wasn't within his power to do so.
LOL? df...Itachi didn't necessarily have to come in direct contact with Jiraiya for him to learn, he could have discretely left clues for Jiraiya to pick up on.
It makes sense, remember he watched Pain vs Jman

I'm talking about the sig you have??I can't tell if you're trying to be funny or not. But you sound retarded asking that.
The exact same thing could be said for Obito. The difference between the two is that Obito openly admitted inferiority multiple times.
Anyway, that's irrelevant to this thread. I think since Itachi knew J-man was Naruto's primary protector, he could of had his own individuals he suspected would of came into contact with J-man and slyly supplied them with information that would of aided Jiraiya in his protection of Naruto. Who knows, though?
Obito never said he was weaker than itachi. That's just your assumption. Obito has no reason to kill itachi since by default naruto has to be the last one sealed and thus konoha is the last place akastuki would attack.
But alas it is irrelevant. Jman was tracking the akatsuki from before having contact with itachi. As such his info had to have come from a different location. Especially considering how little info(based on what we know) he acquired.

I don't know why people brought up Obito but he did have to watch his back constantly when Itachi is alive. If Konan was able to do what she did to Obito with a plan, imagine what Itachi would be capable of. That being said, If Itachi tried to go up to Obito and fight him randomly it would not end well U_U
Anyway to comment on the thread, J-man has been known to be an expert spy/intelligence gatherer by himself, I don't think Itachi had any connection to him at all

Not really. If itachi really knew what was up he'd know who really ran sh¡t when our came to the crew. And had he acquired konans knowledge he'd still lose to a ten min izanagi.
