For all the sasuke haters who think he doesn't care about the truth...

Sasuke has been through a lot from the uchiha massacre, till now. He has been tormented by Itachi's words about claiming who weak he is. At the same time he only believes that he can get stronger by going to Orochimaru. Which helped him get stronger physically and mentally. Itachi does not want orochimaru implanted in him and eventually fights sasuke till he reveals his curse mark and removes it. Now he can become the saviour of the uchiha with natural uchiha kekkei genkai. When Itachi died, sasuke was suppose to return to the village but obito revealed the truth about Itachi and partial revelation about the clan. Now Sasuke desires to destroy the village. When he confronted Danzo he realizes that Danzo actually did order Itachi to annihilate his clan, thus building Sasuke's hatred even more. After Danzo's death, sasuke still wants the village into rubble, but confronts Edo Itachi. Itachi reveals the truth from his eyes and changes Sasuke's heart AGAIN. It takes A LOT to want to know why Itachi wanted to save the village after ordered to massacre his own clan. Remember sasuke could of easily negated Itachi's words and still want to destroy Konoha. When he talks to Hashirama, he comes to a conclusion and we get a glimpse of all of Sasuke's memories that builds his ambition from time to time, and he decides to protect the village(exactly what Itachi wanted to do.)
Addenda, Sasuke has been revealed to numerous truths and it takes a lot to take the time and gather all the information from Obito, Hashirama, Tobirama, Hiruzen, and Itachi, and decide to Cherish Itachi's ambitions...

Cool, cool, even tho it would take a lot more than this to educate some people on the Base, it was cool
