Can killing be justified

Can it lets discus this topic. I would say it depends mostly on youre view of justice. But I think the most important thing to consider on this topic is if killing will really solve anything.
So I'll ask the first question can you honestly say that killing solves anything?

Of course it can. For example, take the guy who killed Hitler. Did he not do a good deed? Did he not save thousands of lives? Should he not be regarded as a hero?

There's no "yes" and "no" answer that fits for every scenario. It completely depends upon what's happening.

Do you find cops, CIA agents, soldiers, etc evil for killing? No, it's their job, they do it on orders or if they notice harm. Also, in most countries if you stop someone who is causing harm, about to cause harm, etc then it is considered okay because you were stopping them from doing something which would have greater consequences. It's not necessarily honorable for the individual to kill in any of these scenarios, however, at times it can be needed & as said before, it is very understandable.

However, if you just kill someone for no reason and they were not causing harm, then that will never be justified.

Only in self-defense if there is no other options. Usually though, if you were armed to kill, I would think you could incapacitate the attacker somehow and render them harmless enough until the police arrive.

For self defense can't you just incapacitate them. Killing them is really the first thing that comes to your mind?
