To reemphasize this question: If Sakura had crushed Obito's Rinnegan as he asked, wouldn't they both be stuck in that dimension ready for Madara to kill them? Or am I missing something?

Yes you are missing something. It is the sharingan that is used for kamui so crushing the rinnegan would have no affect.

EDIT: I liked the nostalgic feel of the chapter especially when Kakashi mentioned his infamous bell test. I realize he was talking about them using team work, but a picture of Team 7 reading Ichi Ichi Paradise to Madara just popped into my head

In my opinion, the technique Naruto used on Kakashi is Creation Of All Things(Banbutsu Sōzō), A Yin-Yang technique. That can be a convincing explanation to many things, like how he produced those black rods.

I don't think Madara was intimidated by him, I think it was just Minato was away so he couldn't help Kakashi and Rinn... He waited until the safety blanket (minato) was gone for maximum grief and anger

Why do people think Sasuke has hidden motives? I don't think so, I think he's finally back, he had sense knocked into him after Itachi died (second time) I don't think he wants to harm the village anymore, you can see by looking at him that he's like Sasuke again and not a homicidal pyscho consumed in darkness.

Interesting chapter.
Turning Naruto into some kind of God there is nowhere else to go.
Sakura could have ended it all.
Wonder why she didn't tell them that she had a chance to finish it.
I hope Obito survives he was a good kid that got his innocence taken away at a young age Naruto can help him.
Btw he should also be able to help Bee and give the Rai kage back his lower arm (sasuke should apologize to him doubt he will).

I still do not trust Sasuke he changed his mind too many times and has been shown to be easy to manipulate like most Uchiha (except Itachi and few others) he is easy to manipulate.
Anyone notice how he has 2 families now? He spent many years with Oro and the gang on the other side there is the Konoha family he tried to take both of them out.

Finally I may be wrong but I think I read long ago that the sharingan put a constant strain on kakashi's body and that was the reason why he had so little chakra available. If it is true he will be a stronger opponent with all the experience and jutsu he copied and more stamina available

I didn't think it could be that Sakura could have been made more useless than she is now. Naruto can heal and possibly re-create body parts (how did Kakashi's "new" eye magically pop up if he didn't recreate it?)! I did like Kakashi's thoughts on his former students though, again, it didn't bode well for Sakura. Although he tried to make her sound sympathetic to Sasuke, she looks like a victim in how she loves someone who tried to kill her. Then there's the one he wrote off as an idiot who has surpassed the Hokage and has become a legend (YOSH!). But then there's Sasuke...Someone needs to put one giant question mark on that guy. He may have an eye and he may have one half of SO6P power but not only did Kakashi not know what Sasuke thought but probably neither do any of us. I think the jury's still out on him.

I liked the chapter 4/5. I feel bad for Obito because unlike the rest of us he had no idea just how far Madara went in order to be able to use him. Not a very well hidden secret. It was as obvious as Obito being Tobi. I wonder if this news is going to give Obito the resolve he needs to resist Madara a little longer and kamui himself out of there. I would think this would make him angry enough to do so.

Just how is Madara holding Obito up off of the ground without the bottom half of his body? You can clearly see Obito's feet are not touching the ground.

I like that team 7 is back together again but we didn't need the flashbacks. I knew there had to be a chance for team 7 to shine and surpass the previous generation. There had been too much focus on team 7 throughout the series for Kishi to leave Sakura out of it when it counts. Also this has to happen for Sasuke to be accepted by everyone when the war is over.

Kakashi, Sakura and Naruto need to show that they trust and believe in Sasuke again for everyone to accept him. What better way is there to do that than to fight together as a team? People have good reason not to trust him, but this will go a long way to help him regain some of the trust he lost.

I was expecting the plot to get diverted to something other than the cliffhanger from last time, and the fact that it didn't shows how close to the end we are getting.
Nice twist for Obito to send Sakura back just in time, creating a full Team 7 reunion, complete with Kakashi. I wouldn't be surprised if Sasuke can somehow get to that dimension with his Juubi eye - an Uchiha clan reunion, of sorts.

What is Sakura going to do against Madara? In my eyes, she's just a wannabe Tsunade. I'm very eager to see Sasuke's reply after what Kakashi had told him. There's to just wanting to become "Hokage" Overall, the chapter was decent I guess.

Madara setting the whole Rin thing up was a popular theory, but how he did it is what was surprising, it wasn't no bs "he had them under sharingan control" it was actually interesting, a curse mark control of the heart, something that Obito got rid of when Kakashi stabbed him in their dimension.

But Madara stabbed Obito, and is using his chakra inside him to control him, however Obito is likely not down for the count, in fact he will likely have both of his eyes back, either if Madara just drops it and puts in his rinnigan, or if Madara crushed it, Naruto will likely heal him as he did to Kakashi.

As for Sasuke, he has already redeemed himself. He no longer had any "evil" in him when he arrived to the battlefield, then when he was dying, his final thought was of not letting Itachi's way of living going to waste, that showed he now has taken on the role of protecting Konoha and such, and now with his meeting with Rikudo, he and Naruto bonded even more than when against Obito, as they are now acting the same as when they were kids.

So Team 7 is more than viable now, and I personally hope Obito joins the party, full power Kakashi and full power Obito at long last will be so epic.

From previous pages, whenever sasuke closes one of His eyes, Heis nursing a power that he will unleash. The reason why Sasuke closed that Rennegan eye was because he wants to activate the other rennegan . Sasuke will awaken the other rennegan when madara pushes Him to the extreme when he could no longer absorb madara's pressure.

From the look of things, Naruto got the So6p's main powers. Naruto can create life,he can give life, he can create anything with Power that the So6p gave him.

The next chapter will be the truth powers of Rennegan. Madara will display all he has learned all these while with the rennegan, also I think that Sasuke's left eyes which is Similar to Law's ROOM technique that controls everything around his sphere, will be countered by the poweres of Madara's left Eyes.

Though many of us knew that Madara was the culprit behind that conspiracy, but still it so irritated me that what dark heart you must have just to play so casually with human lives and feelings. Poor Obito... somehow I believe that not real Madara or maybe not just with two Rnnegans will get back from Kamui dimension...
