Sakura > Naruto (Not a Troll Thread) - Part One

Note: I am not making fun of certain characters that leads to a pointless thread filled with insults


I would like to point out that this thread is not a comparison of power. I know that any form of Naruto can fodderize Sakura.

The thread focuses solely on why Sakura is a better character than Naruto and how she is better written.


A lot of Naruto fanboys think that Naruto is the underdog of the story. That they believe Naruto earned everything he got and worked hard for them


However, they do not realize how wrong they are


I am going to use Sakura to exemplify why Naruto is not a very good character.



The Underdog Mentality

She wasnt born in a clan, therefore shes not special compared to Naruto who was born in the Uzumaki clan and whose Dad is the 4th Hokage


A lot of people say Naruto is a relatable character, but think, are most of us born in a rich family background. Do most of us have important parents who achieved so many things in life and are recognized by a lot of people


So in a way, Sakura is a more relatable character than Naruto because she came from a normal background. She may have been a popular person, but that doesnt take away the insecurities she has by being normal compared to Naruto


This is a huge problem because for a main character of a shonen manga to be very successfully, a relatability factor is necessary. Naruto lost that in Part 2 when Kishi introduced all that destiny and prophecy crap



Another issue is power


This is more of Kishi's fault because he didnt properly develop Sakura even though shes a main character

Hence why for most of part one, Sakura was useless in battle

However, this just further proves my point. Sakura felt helpless. She couldnt do anything because she was not special like Naruto who has Uzumaki genes, Ashura's chakra, and Kurama

Even when the odds were against her and even though she couldnt do anything substantial to change the situation, she never gave up

Its different in Naruto's case because almost everytime he was backed up in a corner, plot and Kurama had to save him

On the other hand, even though Sakura trained so hard under Tsunade and stated she was at Naruto and Sasuke's level

Hence, why Sakura can never achieve the same success as Naruto has because she was not born to be great.


Her insecurities stem from the fact that she feels helpless whenever Naruto is in the scene because what she can do can never surpass what Naruto can do



Which is why, she is a more of an underdog than Naruto

She had Friends while people were scared to look at naruto. All she was insecure about was her forehead and Hair color but she then found ino who helped her overcome that unlike naruto who never had any friends or anyone to talk to. Image how insecure and lonely you would feel if people treated you like naruto was treated.

4-The prophecy never said Naruto would become a god and kick ass it just said he would change the world (Not necessarily having to be powerful and Naruto never has believed in destiny he always says people make their own destiny)

5-Then You had the nerve to Mention Power this just made me have a mini heart attack from laughing because it was so dumb
Naruto had not talent for F**KS sake he couldn't even throw a shuriken but he never let that get in his way to power. You said he was Uzumaki Ok that's fine but then you mentioned Ashura and Kurama, First off Ashura is the same exact picture as naruto he never had any talent but worked Hard in order to overcome that Naruto never Used Ashura's Chakra he used his own. he's just a reincarnation of him same as sasuke. then you said He had kurama Lmfaoo Kurama never Helped him get stronger Naruto had to master him. Kurama only gave naruto power because he wanted to weaken the seal and was only used when Naruto was Extremely upset

you gotta chill my friend. I already said I agreed with his points regarding how Sakura felt while Team 7 progressed. I do not find anything else worth talking about. I care not for power ups, abilities or anything like that. I focus on the character's personality and their potential.

I got into naruto because of ep 1, Naruto has always been shown to be like Ashura,the movies showed he would greatly affect the world as each time him understanding his opponents is what made Naruto stronger. People here make it out as if they added the prophecy out of nowhere. Things like storyboards exist, though they do change being a weekly manga they have to plan at least 5 months of plot ahead of time. It may have not been what Kishi envisioned when he started the series, but wanting to take that route once he and writers envisioned it being a better story to further explore isn't wrong. As I said before, if the Akatsuki existed in the first series, the possibility of they had already planned out how the group was formed years ago, is likely.

If that's how they originally envisioned it, what's done is done. If you want to explain why the prophecy ruined Naruto as a character, please do as I haven't seen a reason.

A lot of people were turned off by these developments which is why Part 2 is not held in such high regard compared to Part One

I loved how the majority didn't even bother to read the thread. Yes, he is right, Sakura is much more of an underdog than Naruto. Naruto's status as a prophesied child, his host status, and his hybrid Uzumaki lineage alone renders all arguments in his favour completely invalid and pointless.

There is nothing to disagree here. Despite my hatred for Sakura, I can admit that she came from a below average, civilian background. I am sure her parents are probably linked to workforce that maintains Konoha as it's the Military clans that clearly an d overwhelmingly outnumber the very small civilian population. It would have been nice to give some background on a girl that is supposed to be the lead female.

Bad writing on Kishimoto's part, but at this point it's like beating a rotting dead horse.
