I can agree with this. On an unrelated note, what I hate is people saying that sakura is useless. Sure in part 1 she was was but now she isn't. And my god the war excuse, SHE WAS HEALING PEOPLE! God some people just feel the need to bash every chracter.

I love this post , Narusaku Tards always say, "Hinata only likes naruto for his Ninja way", but every time sakura and naruto have a so called
"Romantic moment" sakura is always talking about how she doesint wanna see his dream get crushed and how your close to getting your dreams and etc, its not even comfrimed that sakura likes naruto yet, but people are already saying that their canon because she gave him "Cpr"

This pretty much. It's mind boggling how so many people think she is a better character than Sakura or some other females in the story that are clearly better than her. Even Kishimoto thinks she is overrated.

The answer to why people like her so much usually lies in the shit we have been fed all our lives.....you know, the fact that *** and *** appeal is EVERYWHRE in this country and though *** is looked down upon when happening at a certain age, you learn more and see more about it than politics and religion. Many of the people who like her seem to be drawn to the fact she is a curvy and innocent (with that little girl voice that seems to be popular to put on well developed females) her submissiveness, which isn't surprising since that has a heavy influence in our porn industry (along with a variety of weird things, but dominate women don't tend to get quite as much attention worldwide as a meek well developed young innocent girl)

Sakura is a strong willed, independent girl who speaks her mind and can handle guys like Naruto and Sasuke with a whip...so naturally she seems to be looked down upon because she has a big vocab, is smart, and can handle herself (with dudes, don't start with the fighting and stuff) She is popular in Japan and in other countries because they don't hang on to this pathetic housewife concept necessarily like America does (mainly comparing to places like Europe or Japan, more westernized places)

Anyways though, it all comes down to personal opinion and of course there are people who like her for the character she is, but for the most part....shes fine, but way way way way way overrated in terms of Naruto females and anime females in general.

I Agree but also Disagree with this, In real life i agree that majority of men (Not all) would perfer a innocent/cute girl, rather than a tuff/hardcore girlfriend but for Anime & Manga fans, alot of guys like Bad-ass female's in anime, they are the most popular in anime, like mikasa and Annie from attack on titan, Morgianna from Magi and many more, To me its kishimoto's writing for the character, hinata and sakura both have their useless moments throughout the series, but the reason why i think alot of people hate sakura Imo is because she's a fake bad-ass female, kishimoto trys to make her play the role as a tuff and hardcore, by giving her super human stregnth taijustu, but in the Naruto-universe its all about justu, Taijustu is barely a power-use in the naruto-universe besides the 8 gates which only was use once by Gai and when you use it, you die right after, so tai-justu is rarely used that much so it didint really give fans that (hated her), a reason to liker her, she has matured but she basically became a tsunade 2.0 in part 2, in part 1 she was a sasuke fean and she had her stupid moments but she had her own style like inner-sakura (Which we never seen anymore) and she was a little insecure but it was cute at the same time but kishimoto changed her into a power-house hitting,tsunade 2.0, fake bad-ass female character, she has no solo's throughtout the series, except for the sasori fight, other than that she just heals people all the time, which is okay to a certain extent but kishimoto made it seem like she would do alot of damage when she was introduced in shippuden, Hinata was a supporting character so people dont say she's as useless as sakura (Which she is), she only gets development when its concerning naruto and she barely has any fights, but the reason why people like her (over sakura) is because she liked naruto from the start, before he bacame a hero,before people talked to him, before he mastered the kyuubi and etc.

^^Agreed :/ Yeah Hinata had a crush on him in his low times, but what helping him in his lonliness? She never spoke out for him, and she never was shown supporting Naruto til the chunin stuff when she was willing to throw out Kiba and Shino's chances of moving forward for Naruto (same sacrifice btw that Sakura was gonna do to keep Naruto's dream alive (weird considering shes in "love" with Sasuke)) Iruka was the first person to support Naruto. I wish everyone would stop saying Hinata did, it was Iruka followed by his teammates (Sakura, Sasuke, and Kakashi) then maybe Hinata follows somewhere after that.

Sakura has gotten tremendous emotional development (i say that because how i read the manga is Sakura has some feeling left for Sauce, but very little and no trust what so ever, however her relationship with Naruto has really blossomed into potential) Right now, pairing wise at least...Sakura is the only true question mark (unless the gf statement was meant to be a canon statement on NS's status) in the feelings department. Im sorry but it doesn't matter how many times one can justify Naruto getting with Hinata, but even in the fictional world there has to be some feelings on both ends and not just one. This is also the issue we run into with SS, Sasuke has never shown a shred of romantic interest in Sakura and Naruto has never shown interest in Hinata. Even if the gf statement was somehow a joke....how does it look that he still made the statement? Hinata had a reaction to it, so we know she heard it and Kishi did it for a reason.

Otherwise though (not trying to turn this into a pairing thing lol) Sakura's development and Hinata's both is shotty at best. Sakura should be handling things much better and differently (though she did great with Naruto's CPR recently) and Hinata needs to be less 1 dimensional

Yeah sakura and naruto, out of all the pairings, have had the most development, even though its preety cliche because the heroine (Sakura) character likes the co, Bad boy, silent type character (Sasuke) and then they have their couple of moments, he turns evil and then the herione and the main character get closer, but Nonethelesss, naruto does deserve sakura in every way, i just wish kishimoto gave sasuke some development with other girl charaters instead of just giving him fan-girls, you can probably already tell that im a sasuke fan lol but i really wish that if kishimoto is gonna make sakura and naruto go together in the end, for him to atleast give sasuke a girl in the end, i would say karin or ino because they both like him but he barely has moments with either of them and tried to kill karin and make him look like such a bad guy.
