Luke lets out a deep sigh as his head leans back and meets the wall. His energy gone from his walk, while the others were getting supplies. His walks had consisted of almost a mile, although he was really only going in a circle. His face looked more lively, as hes finally gotten sleep. His katana in his right hand, which was slowly relaxing, unclinching. His pistol still in his pocket, all bullets still loaded.
Luke's eyes wonder around the sky, but only for a second. His eyes rest on a single cloud, a darkening blue, puffy cloud with others following it. The rain had started coming down soon after Luke had spotted it. Luke had always enjoyed the cool, refreshing droplets of cold rain on a warm day, or when he was tired. The last few days, there hadn't been many clouds in the sky. Now here comes the rain. Luke pushes slightly off the wall, boosting him away from it for an inch or two. He walks over to a tree and puts his katana down, leaning against the trunk, but also almost flat against the ground. He takes his pistol out of his pocket and places it on the ground, next to his katana.
The rain had come in faster than he had expected, although he anticipated it, he also resented it. He wished for the cool drops of water but he didn't bring his swimming trunks and duck floaty for the water. Luke watches as the cloud closes in, inching closer to him, the ground darkening with its new found friend, water. Luke slips out of his red hoodie and throws it with his stuff, he does this with his shoes as well, not wanting them to get wet. Luke steps closer to the rain, allowing himself to get wet. His shirt clings to his body, dampening with the rain, the rain rolls off his blonde hair and pants, but soon they too start to dampen. His pants soon start to cling, his hair starts to straighten and flattening, water dripping off the edges. Luke smiles and says out loud, to himself, "I love the rain."
