yea itachi pretty much destroyed his whole existence in one night, killing his own family, lover and the whole clan and only once we have seen him shed some manly tears. obito on the other hand went apeshit after losing his child crush.... and started a world war, because he couldn't accept the circle of life, while itachi took as much hatred and burden as there was, to make the world a better place...

even in road to ninja movie(which i consider kinda canao, since it was written by kishi himself) obito feared itachi.... and akatsuki only invaded konoha after itachi was dead....

I feel the same about RTN..... If Kishi had to do it over I believe he was saying he'd put Itachi as the leader...and Obito did indeed flee from Itachi, but Obito was not afraid, just very cautious. Also....if Kishi wrote it then it's canon until further notice from him. I believe he even says it took very long as he wrote everything himself. It is the only movie that is canon imo. It happened somewhere in the midst of the Manga....

Obviously, obito was. He didnt order akatsuki to attack konoha whilst itachi was alive. Then after itachi death his like lets go get the kyuubi.

and after itachis death he said: now that itachi is dead nothing stays in my way, lets go to konoha.....

we still dont know how obito survived the amaterasu he got hit with, but it was obvious that it had some kind of effect on him. in a real battle itachi would have more then enough time to defeat obto...

That's all well and good, but Obito's Kamui is fast enough to enter a Jinton cube, materialize, grab a person, then Kamui out of the Jinton , all before it exploded. Nothing Itachi has can hit Obito, and if it does, Izanagi.

Regarding Itachi, Obito and Konoha, Itachi was a member of Akatsuki. A useful one. If he attacked Konoha, Obito would have lost a valuable pawn.

Regarding the movie, haven't seen it, don't care.
