Just because Haku may have been stronger than them doesnt mean he isnt able to be surpassed. Look at all the leaf jonnin and other powerful ninja they have surpassed. OT: I disagree.

In terms of total potential, Haku's greatest height would be to reach a High Kage level. Here's the other problem with this analysis: During the same arc, Kakashi was leagues ahead of Naruto and Sasuke. He had three years just like them, and currently they destroy him. To assume Haku would automatically get the same level of training and maintain the same height above them is simply a fallacy. Especially when the two are comparatively main characters.

During the fight with Haku, Sasuke awakened the Sharingan and was capable of better following Haku to the point he was aiming closer. Ultimately was able to protect Naruto due to this when Haku targeted him. Naruto using Kurama's chakra could overpower Haku. So even during that Arc they showed they possessed abilities that could put them on his level.

Naruto: has Kurama as a chakra source, now the other Bijuu, Sage Mode, and the spirit of Asura. Sage Points

Sasuke: Has (Seemingly Senju DNA thanks to Kabuto), Sharingan precognition, Susanoo, Indra's spirit, and Enton. Sage Points


Finally, Haku has no move that can counter the Omnyouden. Madara can simply make a bubble and he'd outlast Haku.

Naruto and Sasuke are just given everything on a silver platter, like you mentioned. both are fodders compared to haku
