You have it alllllllllllllllllll wrong my friend. No body is complaining about "Naruto's asspull". We're all complaining that Gai didn't die. I don't care if Naruto sprouts wings and breathes fire out of his ass next chapter; Gai's death was supposed to be absolute. Saving his life contradicts the rules of the manga, contradicts the past 3-5 chapters, and contradicts the entire purpose of Gai vs Madara.

I do think that it wouldve been better for him to just end up dead. But it is still alright if he is just a cripple afterward.
Other than that part.....
This was a boss chapter. 8 gates did not disappoint. Narutos return was boss.
I just hope that the fight with madara and naruto+ sasuke, is good, and that sasuke and naruto DO NOT FUSE.
I would still really like to see a naruto and sasuke final battle. We dont know what sasukes answer is still. So it can happen(in my opinion, it would be the perfect way to end the cycle of hatred.)
Gai surviving isnt the possible issue really. If gai lives and makes a full recovery then I will share your sentiments.

Awesome chapter... Naruto's Entry was awesome hitting the Gudoudama... Gai is really spectacular to watch... But Madara still playing Badass...

Sasuke doesn't have rinnegan (most likely). But he'll have some really badass power up which is why he'll be arriving on the scene after Naruto. Still doubt he'll be stronger than Naruto though. But if anything, they'll be about equal

SH** this chapter was bad***. I thought I wouldn't like it if guy lived but d*** that was so epic I don't care. Also it would be more BS if it seemed like Naruto didn't have the power to heal him. Naruto is so confident now its like when goku went super saiyan the first time. With naruto looking like that I aint pissed because he looks so powerful that he could heal anyone.

5/5 Naruto in BSM without the cloak seemed interesting. I am also wondering if Sakura and Obito went with Naruto. Now I am all pumped up for the next chapter.
Gai is saved from dying by Naruto is cool but I think that Gai will not be able to do any combats at all. Like what happen to Lee in part 1.
What are Naruto's new powers? It's too much I can't even think straight right now for all this excitement for the next chapter. I'll just sleep it off and calm down. :gn:

What is the deal with naruto's eyes?? he got kurama's other half that explains 'kurama' eyes but when he enters sage mode some orange color formation happens around his eyes right?... O_O
Just a thought what if this is an enhanced sage mode?? like alltime sage mode.. doesnt need any prep time like the previous sage mode (Toad sage mode).. O_O

Loved this one too. This medium to fast paced writing style since the last few chapters suits the series. Good work Kishi Sensei.

The flashbacks were Kakashi's dad's words coming true, Gai surpassed him because he never paid much attention to his strength. That is what I interpreted anyway.
Naruto and Sasuke suddenly get up and move, which is pretty cool as we didn't see any wake up dialogues and stuff which would have wasted panels.
Madara is already looking like trash.

if they don't kill you there's no risk, that means no life or death battle...
the main thing I liked was how it gave you as much power as you wanted, but if you went all out you would die...

I loved the chapter especially knowing how the whole rival thing began. ^__^
No offense to my fav character but he should have died nobly. Not by a ball from Madara but just from his technique. That would have done him service. But either way, glad he is seemingly okay. Naruto looked badass kicking the ball like a soccerball. xD
