Dude the guy never once claimed anything as a fact so what are you so upset about? He simply pointed out that those who have been claiming fact over this debate can no longer do so he even ended with saying the topic is debatable because it could go either way. The hell are are you mad for?

OT: I agree. Personally I don't care for MS Sasuke or SM Naruto because they both have progressed so far beyond those points. But I've always said that Sasuke fans were using those scans incorrectly and yes this recent chapter proves that much

So, in other words..... It was never a question of power. He said he can't "beat" Sasuke because of Indra. Most likely, Naruto guessed that Indra would just pick someone else. One could even say that this makes Sage Mode Naruto stronger than MS Sasuke since he had no doubts about beating him.

Most of those scans are simply Naruto admitting to the fact that even though he has great power Sasuke also has great power, he isn't saying oh Sasuke is stronger than me, he is simply accepting the fact that they are both destined for something greater than just battling each other. IMO that makes Naruto stronger that Sasuke, mentally, because based on the past Sasuke, where Sasuke has been quick to try and fight Naruto even though Naruto just wants to talk one can say Sasuke is very Narrow Minded, white Naruto has remained to this an Open Minded person.

I am sure that Naruto sensed something dark possessing Sasuke, but to believe that Naruto knew that Sasuke's spirit would just reincarnate into someone else is a bit far fetched. I am not saying MS Sasuke> SM Naruto, but I think Naruto just sensed the dangerous presence that was Indra and he saw that it was something he could not overcome.

It also vastly depends on what point in time you are talking about. SM Naruto was stronger then MS Sasuke at the start of the kage summit, but then Sasuke progressed his MS immensely. After Naruto saw the final levels of Sasuke's MS he probably figured that he needs to get stronger, hence the Kurama remark. Naruto has since improved his SM further as demonstrated throughout the war arc, but I guess Sasuke's MS progression can't be link with anything post kage summit arc. So in that regard its kind of an unfair comparison since Naruto is sill progressing and improving SM, whilst Sasuke's MS progression stagnated 4 arcs ago.

But at the end of the day its all just the characters opinions, its not like its literally Kishi saying "at this chapter so and so is stronger because I made them say this". You have to take it in the context of the characters personality as well.

What naruto says is that despite weakened sasuke indra's chakra would kick in and he and his ashura would get soloed as he isnt in possession of bijus or multitude to help him.

Naruto made it known clear as day that he felt both of them would die if he fought. Ashura and Indra also destroyed one another when they battled, so we know Naruto's assumptions were correct. That statement alone proves that Naruto didn't feel superior nor inferior to Sasuke. He knew they were on equal footing. He coudn't beat Sasuke anymore than Sasuke could beat him. They would both end up loosing their lives just like the transmigrates who were possessing them. All that "Indra's power will kick in and solo" sounds crazy as hell on your part man.

And yes, Naruto did state that he needs Kurama's chakra to fight Sasuke the next time they were to do battle. This would make perfect sense as he was preparing for the future. You act like he said "Sasuke would've killed me if I fought him right then" or something. He knew Sasuke would be stronger than he was then, which is exactly what happened. Naruto knew he needed to get stronger too. He also knew, and he said so in the manga, that he couldn't keep running from the fact that he was Kurama's jin. He had a source of power that could make him stronger. None of that suggests that he felt during the conversation with Sasuke that without Kurama he would lose right then. As again, he said they'd both die lol

That's what's always been so funny about this MS vs SM debate. Everyone keeps trying to say who is stronger when it's clear now more than ever they were on equal footing at that point.
