I don't see how Hinata can counter Katsuyu. I also don't know if she'd be able to survive the ground smash of Sakuras... I'd imagine she'd get impaled by the debris and junk. Also iirc, Sakura is faster, so unless I see a speed/evasive feat from Hinata, I don't know if Hinata could avoid a punch from Sakura.

Hey no problem.
Well the battle is going on a lake according to OP so I don't think she sould be able to do summons and her smashing things isn't going to help either.. IMO (Since there is nothing to smash). Which leads down to hand to hand combat. Now we all know that Sakura is faster, but she's not faster when it comes to taijutsu (Reflexes and stuff). Hinata is better taijutsu user than sakura, and her gentle fist combos are really fast. After she gets hit a couple of times, she's done. Well at least that's what I think.

Very valid points. I completely forgot about the location. Can I see scans or Hinata's reflexes and speed in taijutsu? I know she's a Hyuga and all but scans of the feat would be nice. This match-up in the water does seem to be in Hinata's favor, but I think Sakura can still pull it off. Speed and all would be important in this match considering it's probably who ever gets the first hit wins. With the location, this can probably go either way, but regularly I'd say Sakura clearly wins.

I have to admit hinata lacks speed feats but so does Sakura. Anyways she was able to land a couple of hits on Neji. Neji was about the same speed has Naruto with kyubi. (the first form) And Naruto with Kyubi was as fast/faster than Haku. Sakura has shown no feats capable of that. But anyways thats not the only thing. Hinata also has twin lion gentle fist which is a bit more mmid range (I believe) And she has the vacuum palm. Also mid range.

I think it's the other way around... Hinata needs multiple hits to shut down the chakra, Sakura needs one hit with her CE punch and it's game.

Sakura's Battle Smart Feats:

-Finding Kakashi, by evacuating any other alternative.
-Memorizing hand and strings movement pattern in order to foresight Sasori's attacks, only with observation.
-Fooling Sasori, making him believe she was badly injured and poisoned, setting him a trap that left the fourth Kazekage's puppet destroyed.
-Figuring out Tobi's jutsu before anyone, only with observation.
-Fooling Sai, Lee and Kiba.
-Discovering the spy in the Medical Squad, and realizing how Zetsu's jutsu worked, just with observation and Yamato's report.

Beside from this, Sakura has a one hit KO, so Hinata would have to seal the chakra flow in Sakura's fists, arms and legs, to prevent Sakura from attacking her, and this is kind of unlikely, considering Sakura's analytic and speed feats already provided, our heroine will find the way to make a clean hit with all her resources.

Hakke Kusho is not a great help, it just doesn't harm the target that bad, even a 30% chakra clone Kisame tanked it perfectly. Also it requires some time to cast, so it would be easy for someone like Sakura to evade:
