Yes, I'm not understanding the theme of a girl that isn't even a main character and only relevance is to be used as a pairing fodder. Even after Neji's death, her only use was to comfort Naruto. I wouldn't call this anything important.

It's not the matter that she will get powerup, but the fact of the matter is she'll play pivot roles in this arc showing any importance that define this character, and honestly I don't understand why people think she's a fodder when she build up her moment with Naruto after signifying Neji death sacrificed to both NaruHina. Plus the Hyuga and Uzamaki that ties with the SO6P would make perfect sense.
