Loved it, Gai was badass. He really impressed me this chapter, I knew he was going to be strong, but not this strong.
It also looks like his death won't be for nothing, he bought enough time for Naruto to be revived.

It seems i was wrong, Naruto is probably going to meet the SOSP. I may not like it but i have to accept it.

The only real complaint I have was they wasted some panels on re-explaining the 8 gates and about the whole youth crap and Guy's sacrificing himself for everyone and crap. I just felt it was a bit too much spent on that, though it could've been way worse. Otherwise it was pretty damn good. MUCH better than what we'd been getting lately. These past two chapters give me some hope that this good series that has turned mediocre can end well.

I will say that, to me, fights are why anime > manga. It can be so difficult figuring out what the hell is going on during a fight. It was still really nice to see Madara get hit around a bit.

But you forget that Gai is strong enough to make Madara think about his fight with Hashirama.

Great chapter. I enjoyed seeing a team effort to support Gai instead of letting him struggle by himself with someone who is planning on ending the world as they know it.

8 Gates was everything I hoped for. Definitely deserving of a 5

If he'd completely tanked it then I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be much damage done to him; he just got slapped around like a tennis ball around a court, and then some. Admittedly he's not dead, but I'm sure that must have brought him closer than he has been in a while.

Well finally Madara doesn't look uber all powerful, but he still seems to not care much at all. Seriously what's with Madara and dancing? Someone needs to take him to the prom or something.
