Rinnegan from birth or obtained

It is shown that the Sage of the Six paths was the first
to have the Rinnegan.
Now for an Uchiha these are the stages of their eyes:
1. Normal eyes
2. Sharingan (activated after facing life threatening
situation)
3. Mangekyo Sharingan (activated after a very close
person dies)
4. Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan (activated after
replacing the existing Mangekyo Sharingan with
another mangekyo sharingan)
5. Rinnegan (conditions for activation have not yet
been mentioned)
All these stages have covered by Madara Uchiha, he took
his brother's Mangekyo Sharingan to activate the Eternal
Mangekyo Sharingan.
Now if the same logic was to be applied to the Sage of
the Six Paths, then whose Mangekyo Sharingan did he
take for his own?
He being the first shinobi should not have anyone to
take a Sharingan from.
Did he had Rinnegan from his birth
if then who taught his his jutsu's

the Sage was the only one who was born with the eyes and Madara was the only one to truly awake it meeting specific conditions/under specific circumstances which made him similar to the Sage (having the Senju/Uchiha powers).

so you can say that it's ORIGINALLY "from birth" but, you can also have it once you become WHOLE/with both the Senju and the Uchiha's power/like the Sage.

When you divide uchiha and senju, you'll eventually sharingan through descendants.

The older brother who was given the sages eyes, descendants later have sharingan.

I guess the only way for an Uchiha descendant to awaken the a Rinnegan is to have full power in both eyes (MS/EMS) and have senju blood in them (In Hashirama's tissues it needs to be full controlled).

The sage is merely a mutation of being born of juubi chakra.

It can also mean awaken at birth. No mentioning of senji DNA for so6p at all. There were actually no ninjas at that time. So eating the fruit or being a jin won't give you rinnegan. So6p didn't need jubi power to solo it, only with the power he was born with

Hagoromo most likely unlocked the Rinnegan later in life, like an Uchiha unlocks the Sharingan.

Sharingan = Uchiha kekkei genkai
Rinnegan = Hagoromo's kekkei genkei, due to being the embodiment of pure Juubi chakra

So6p was born all powerful and stuff. It never mentioned he learnt anything. He
s not called god of shinobi in manga. He is called "god". It makes more sense god since birth since its said he's almighty since birth. I don't see him ever had something called practice or powerup

I don't know rinnegan since birth or not but its pretty much all in his blood since birth
