Sasuke done pretty dirty by Kishimoto despite being Naruto's supposed "rival".
I would just like to state that even though Naruto and Sasuke have been stated to be pretty equal in terms of power, (which was mostly true in part 1 at least) in part 2, Sasuke has just seemed to have gotten the shaft as far as power comparisons go after Naruto got the Sage Mode power up.
I mean, think about it: which version of Sasuke in part two really compares to SM Naruto? And lets include the variations of his signature move in comparison to the variations of Naruto's.
Any version of Rasengan > Any version of Chidori (Well, Nagashi and Sharp Spear might be effective because of their range, but still, they get their asses kicked by any other variations of Rasengan.)
And far as comparisons of the actual characters go...
Part 1:
Sasuke=Naruto
CM Sasuke = KM Naruto
Post Orochimaru Invasion Naruto>Post Orochimaru Invasion Sasuke
Sasuke after he got out of the CM Bucket > Naruto
KM 1 tailed Naruto>Sasuke after he got out of the CM Bucket
3 Tomoe Sharingan Sasuke> KM 1 tailed Naruto
CM 2 Sasuke > KM 2 Tailed Naruto
Now in Part 1, it's safe to say they were pretty even. But still, Sasuke really never got the chance to solo anyone significant in P1 which is probably part of the reason he gets hated on so much.
Now in Part 2, Sasuke got ****ed over pretty badly. He was on top at first, but after Naruto learned SM, he was just flat out screwed...
Part 2.
Sasuke>Naruto
Sasuke after absorbing Oro>Naruto (Now I thought Oro Sasuke had potential, he had gained regenerative properties and a couple badass techniques. I was disappointed when Kishi stripped those powers away...)
Rasenshuriken Naruto= Hebi Sasuke
(Now here is where it goes downhill)
SM Naruto > Sasuke
SM Naruto > Hebi/CM 2 Sasuke
SM Naruto > MS Sasuke
Ems Sasuke = SM Naruto (Probably even, a BIG maybe on that one)
KCM Naruto > EMS Sasuke
TBM Naruto > EMS Sasuke
SM TBM Naruto > Ems Sasuke
So Sasuke should get a pretty big powerup and SOON because, for being supposed rivals and all, Sasuke is not even close to Naruto right now. And even though it's unlikely, he either needs CM again or some version of SM because he'll be of no use in the fight against a RM Madara. Hell, I don't even think Rinnegan would make Sasuke even with Naruto at this point, plus Naruto is sure to get a powerup also AND the Rinnegan just wouldn't go well with Sasuke's style if you ask me.
If you doubt Sasuke for the most part not even being even with SM Naruto, just ask yourself: How would any of these Sasukes except EMS fare against the 6 paths of pain or all the edo asses Naruto kicked during the war(3rd Raikage)? Not well. I'm just a little disappointed with the way Kishi has done Sasuke. And even though a 2nd fight between the two is unlikely, the idea of Sasuke fighting Naruto at this point is laughable... which I hate to say because he's one of my favorites.
