[Theory] Gai - Red Steam?

Coming off today's chapter i have to admit i am pretty hyped and pretty sad too.

Looks like Gai is gonna bite the epic bullet for the team.


I wanted to ask you guys, why do you think the final opening's results is referred to as ''Red Steam''?

As we know:

So does that mean the final Gate causes not only the muscles to tear as they did for Lee:

But they also cause the user to perspire Blood instead of Blue Sweat?

If this is the case not only will this make sense why the user dies, but does that also give the final gate a shorter time limit?



That leads me to the following theory of how the battle will pan out over the chapters:

1. Gai will activate the 8th Gate [an obvious event]

2. Gai will momentarily have the upper hand on Madara without infact dealing substantial damage to Madara

3. The Blood perspiring will eventually run out causing Gai's death

4. Just before being stalled enough to be sealed Madara will get angry and attempt to kill everyone

5. Naruto will return from the Kamui dimension, Sasuke will arrive also - both with new found powers

Agreed except that I think Gai will do some good damge and significant, but due to Madaras healing factor he will be okay. It might pan out like Gai does his final techniqu and mortally wounds Madara. madara gets up and looks like he is dying but in a few panels he will be healed and will say that Gai's move took longer than expected to rrecover from.
This way it shows that Gai did really good, but he did not defeat him so that Naruto/Sasuke will.

This is an old idea.

Makoto Shishio from Rurouni Kenshin pushed his body beyond his limits and started emitting red steam. He immediately died because of this.

It's can't be blood.

For red steam to stem from blood, the latter would have to evaporate but blood doesn't, only the water.
